Leaks like crazy!!!!
Very good quality but issue is does not work properly. Leaks and sprays fuel out of vent while driving. Leaked all over the bed of my truck and parked at my house and leaked all over my driveway.

Works well better theft deterrent than a pad lock.
I’m not really sure if I’m using it correctly. I like that when it is locked it spins freely so there really is no way it can be removed by a thief. When I unlock it the entire thing unscrews the cap and the adapter that threads into the tank. Either way it works and I like the fact that it can’t be cut off or grabbed with pliers and removed.

Just so assume
I have looked for something like this for years I’ve gotten more fuel stolen in the passed and I got theses locks and I’m so amazed that they work so good I got them on and I tried everything to get them off with out trying to make a lot of nose there not coming off just a assume part to have if you got a tank in the back of your truck or shop 👍

Performs well
My original cap with my truck’s auxiliary fuel tank sloshed out of the top, an obvious defect. I took a chance and ordered this and could see right away a critical component was missing from my original. I have filled my aux tank to the max and driven it in a fashion to intentionally detect any defect and so far there is no leak and the cap locks and unlocks according to manufacturers specs.

Cap is perfect, nipple is junk.
Lid works fine, do not buy with nipple of you plan to weld it on. The nipple is some junk material they claim to be stainless steel. It’s actually coated and a very low grade of stainless. I ended up having to buy a 2” 304 stainless nipple to weld onto the tank and junk the nipple I bought with the lid.
