Q: Is the "clear" case flexible like a silicone?

Dear! It is hard clear case,not soft silicone,thanks!

Q: How is the material grip of just back-only case (e.g. black 9), not the flip cases? Is it rubbery grip, or slippery plastic?

The grip is okay, but I've found I prefer it without the case. I do have a screen protector though. Thinking about getting a bumper case.

Q: Is there writing or branding of any kind on the case?

Yes...very small writing at the bottom as follows: IMAK CASE and under that in very small writing is: Designed by IMAK in Hong Kong and under that is: www.imak.hk
