Awesome rice cooker!
I read all of the reviews about this cooker and was a little apprehensive but I liked the size. I am so glad I took the chance. The thing to realize is that when they say "cup", they mean the cup that comes with it. 2 cups works perfect for us. It took exactly 16 mins to cook and it went to warm mode. I let it sit for about 5 min and when I took the lid off and stirred with the cool little spoon that comes with it, the rice fluffed up and was perfectly sticky. Clean up is so easy due to the non stick pot. My suggestion, read your directions. Most of the negative reviews seem like they came from folks that really didn't read or pay attention to your time. We have used it everyday since we bought it and honestly I don't know where this little thing has been all my life! Highly recommended for small families. There are 3 of us and it's perfect.

Non stick works good
I replaced my old rice cooker because it didn't have a nonstick surface. It was tough to clean. This one has the nonstick surface and is a breeze to clean. The rice comes out perfectly

Good But Small Improvements Required
***** ADDING to my Original Review below:After having used it for over 16-months, the one issue that has bothered us more than anything else is the "Keep Warm Function".As soon as the cooking is over, it "automatically switches" to the "Warm Function" and remains there. This is not only not necessary but actually harms the cooking because the rice below completely "dries up", starts sticking to the bottom and then starts getting burnt. On many occasions we have had to throw the burnt rice away. There is no way to "disable" the "Warm Function"; it is there permanently. That means, we cannot put the cooker on and leave it for a couple of hours unattended because it is surely going to burn the rice at the bottom. We have to be present there as long as the cooking goes on and the moment the cooking switches over to "keep warm", we have to unplug the cooker from the mains. That is the only way to prevent the rice from being burnt. New Customers please be aware that there is no "On/Off Button" and so, the only way you can completely switch it off is to unplug it from the wall. There is NO POINT in having the "Keep Warm Functionality". Without it the cooker is fine. When the cooking is done let it switch off on its own. The rice stays warm by itself for a couple of hours at least, while cooling down on its own naturally. This one problem caused by the "Keep Warm Function" has bothered us and destroyed its usability. Please note that I had mentioned the same in my original review of the product. No one should have to babysit a rice cooker!************ My ORIGINAL REVIEW from December-2022 is below ***************We purchased the 5-Cup version of it in May of 2022. This seems a relatively new product. There were no reviews when we had ordered it and so, we did take my chances on it. We might have been one of the first buyers of this model. It is a good product overall. We have used it regularly for over six months now and it has served us well enough I have to admit. It shuts off by itself after the rice is cooked and that feature works well. We have something to say about the "Keep Warm" function later (please read below). The pot is "non-stick". We wish that was slightly better quality because it feels like the "nonstick coating" is really thin. Use only "wooden spoons" to take the rice out of it. Never put it inside a dishwasher, even on the top rack, to save the coating. The pot usually cleans well with a little soap and light manual brushing in the kitchen sink.We wish there were a couple of more things and they are the following:1) We wish there was an Audio Alarm (like a loud beep) to tell us when the main Cooking Cycle is over. That would give us the option to switch it off completely once the rice is cooked. Currently it doesn't tell us and "switches automatically" to the "Keep Warm" function. Unfortunately, the "keep warm" function is a bit too hot and rice does stick at the bottom after some time and even burn a bit. We have countered that often. That is why, we are always close by to check whether the Red Light (which indicates the main cooking) is still "On" or whether the Red Light is "Off" and the "Yellow Light" which indicates "Keep Warm" has turned "On". As soon as we see the "Yellow Light" coming on, we unplug it completely. Thus, constant monitoring for the cooking cycle to end has become a big hassle for us. We do it just so that the rice doesn't get overcooked, hard or burnt in the bottom.2) We wish the "Keep Warm" function had a separate button to turn it on or off as per user wish and even then, the Warm Temperature was much lower than now. Cooked Rice remains warm by itself for a long time and so, really there is no need to keep it warm via extra electricity and risking the burning of rice in the process. Honestly, this function is really not required. If provided at all, the user should have the freedom to turn it on if he needs it.So, these are really the improvements we suggest : A better "non-stick" quality, a "loud beep" to indicate end of the cooking cycle and a "separate button" to turn on the "keep warm" function as per user wish with perhaps less temperature than it is now.I would still recommend this cooker to everyone. My improvement suggestions above could be on the minor side for most people.

Great little ricer
Bought this to replace our old ricer. Just about all the non stick surface had worn out of the bowl. This one is a decent replacement. Good color that matches our kitchen decor and is just big enough for our uses. If you intend to make larger portions of rice get a bigger model but if 4-6 cups or thereabouts is enough then i recommend this product.

Rice cooker doesn't last long.
I had this product for less than a year, and now it only keeps warm. It won't last for a long time. This product first got it; it was already used, and I returned and got another one, and now less than a year old, it doesn't cook my rice. DON'T BUY this rice cooker. First one had the same problem which why it was returned in the first place. This only works for a while then it stops. Don't waste your money on this at all!!!!
