Carson-Dellosa I Spy a Mouse in the House! Picture Rhymes Educational Board Game (3111)

I have several versions of mouse house and while this one is nicer quality, the actual game isn’t as fun as the others. The cards are very sturdy and the graphics are cute. For the price, it is much more durable than I was expecting. However, it’s difficult for a preschooler to actually find a rhyme in the house that corresponds to the card. The cards are too large to be placed in the house as a match without covering up other pictures.

This game is not very re-playable. My 5 year old son figured out all of the matching rhymes the first time he played the game.... so now he just recites the answer and points to the object without even trying. Basically there is not enough rhymes or enough rhyme matches or enough object matching variety to keep the game fresh and challenging. Therefore, we will not be re-playing this game and we will give it away. A one time played game is not worth buying.

Nice game. I got it for my 2 year old to play I spy but as she gets older we'll try the rhyming game as well. Nice colorful pictures. I like that the game can be used more than one way and can be more challenging as the child grows

Great concept. A lot of pieces for a quick game in classroom but with adult support kids can engage

My son love this. I take it with me when I volunteer in his classroom, and his teacher and the other kids love it too!
