220V AC Adapter for Panasonic 5.5V Phones

Updated 26-February-2015After nearly 30 months, these adapters are still working just fine. The output voltage from my wall is around 227V~233V and these chargers work better than I could have asked for, especially at less than $10USD each. As of now (we moved a year ago), there is periodically a slightly audible humming but unless everything in the house is off, I couldn't even tell you if the adapter hums, and it's only when I first plugged it into a new outlet. To date, there have been zero issues with these adapters.Updated 2-September-2013After six months, these adapters are working just fine. The output voltage from my wall is around 227V~230V and these chargers work flawlessly. At this time, there is zero humming from either adapter and they are working with my Panasonic KX-TG7642M. Panasonic KX-TG7642M DECT 6.0 Link-to-Cell via Bluetooth Cordless Phone with Answering System - 2 Handsets - Metallic Gray I bought two of these as replacements for my 110V OEM adapters. They do produce a little humming but it's not loud enough to be noticeable from more than a few feet away. After a few weeks of using them, I don't even know that they still hum. People need to keep in mind that there are two Panasonic AC/DC converters for the phones, a 5.5VDC and a 6.5VDC...choose accordingly.

Great product that allows me to use my older Panasonic phone system in Asia. I've been using these for several years now. Note the newer Panasonic cordless phone base cords may now be all build in! So before you buy a new Panasonic phone system, make sure to check that the handset base cords are plug in ones.If you found my review helpful, I would appreciate it if you would check the YES button. Bought for a new Panasonic KX-TGC350B Cordless Phone, since needed an international adapter for 220V. So far, adapter seems to power the phone reliably. But the adapter is not compatible with this phone model as claimed! Its plug is too large and will not fit into the recessed pocket in the phone's base, designed for the original Panasonic adapter's plug. Needed to hack both plugs, cut away this new adapter's plug and replace it with the original one (after confirming correct polarity). Was out of time and needed this replacement adapter, but would have preferred to return it for an adapter that fits.

I Bought 5 Adapters for my Panasonic KX-TG7645M DECT 6.0 Phones.Before 2 months of use, 2 of them have failed.Both of them have failed when plugged on the Base (the second failed after two weeks of use).Maybe the Base require more amps, but original Panasonic adapter for the Base was 500mA too.These adapters have same volts (5.5v) and amps (500mA) than original Panasonic adapters.They are designed for Panasonic Phones!!!Now I'm using the base with original Adapter and a 220v to 110v transformer.By the way, I live in Chile. 220 volts.

Device does not have flat US style plug.The cylindrical Euro pins requires adaptor (or a hammer) for use in USA.

This is the biggest piece of S@#! I have ever bought from Amazon. Unfortunately, I brought it to Thailand before inspecting the quality in the U.S. It fell apart immediately when I took it out of the box and never stayed together. If you buy this piece of junk, buy some duck tape too, to hold it together, otherwise you are wasting your money.

I bought a couple of these to replace my 110v adapter so I can use my cordless phones in Asia. One of the two adapters failed (just plain stopped working) within two weeks of use; the second one is still working... 50/50 failure rate. But the price is reasonable, especially here on Amazon.

End plug is little too long which makes the phone base unstable.
