Avoid this product- it is junk. Unable to thread even 1 piece of pipe. Dies broke on both 1/2 and 3/4 pipe on the third thread, even when using lubricant. Comeplete waste of money- go rent a Rigid pipe threader (that's what I ended up doing) for only a couple pieces of pipe.

It doesn't work tried to thread 1 1/4" pipe and it keeps on locking up, used the threading oil but it still wouldn't cut threads don't buy this piece of junk also the pipe cutter doesn't cut pipe. I've used tap and died for years and never had a problem. Finally I took my pipe to home depot and they cut perfect threads in 2 minutes. Also the pipe vise was missing a bolt so could assemble it completely
