Very good instruction
I purchased this kit on the advice of my doctor, who recommends it to all female patients. Although the narrative style of the DVD is a bit forced and stilted, the instruction is clear, precise, and the kit's model is a great way to learn the difference between the feel of normal, cystic (or lumpy), or abnormal tissue. Of course all findings should be confirmed by a professional, but I found this to be a very instructive tool. The three pressures they recommend do actually result in a far more thorough self-exam.

The Best Breast Self Examination tool conceived
This is the best tool I have ever seen to help me get to know the geography and the changes in my breasts. I feel that if anything changes I will definitely know and be able to help save my own life. There is no one that cares about my life as much as I do and now I have a little control over at least one part of my medical well being. Thank you Mammacare.

Strongly recommended for ALL women
No doctor is taking the time to explain to you how to palpate with such precision that you are able to feel the tiniest lump with this technique (0.3cm vs. only from 1cm when palpating with regular technique). That is why this system is so important. It takes practice, and the instructional DVD is all you need. VERY EXCELLENT product and highly recommended.

All women should have this kit
I live in Madison, Wisconsin, where medical care is superior but competent clinical breast examination remains a lost art. The MammaCare breast model trained my fingers so well that I now feel confident that I will not miss small changes in my breasts even if my doctor does. Thank you, MammaCare. All women should have this kit.

Take charge of your own health care
This system is a thorough and detailed breast self exam technique. I have never had a doctor perform any breast exam as comprehensive as this system teaches. I prefer to skip the mammography radiation unless and until I detect something on my own that warrants it. The MammaCare system appears to be my best bet in achieving that goal.
