Very disappointed in this phone
Very disappointed in this phone. Typically I like the Blu phones and have been purchasing these for my whole family for the last few years. After having the Selfie 2 a couple years ago I decided to try the Selfie 3. Not even 3 months of owning it and I've been severely disappointed with this phone. It's had some lag issues that I've overlooked with the processor in general. Apps that freeze and reset. A battery that doesn't last and then the most recent failure and last straw was my battery wouldn't charge past 40% and then would drain quickly. I then realized that it also seemed to be shorting. The port where you plug into the charger started fraying inside of my phone. Apparently, others have had charging issues with their Selfie 3 as well. Something about the glue not being done properly and soldering issues. Those little wires that connect to your charger, yeah, they just fell out of my phone last night and I cannot charge my phone any longer. I purchased a new phone and am waiting for it to come in. Stupid me, no warranty. (Yeah..my fault.) I'm taking a break from Blu phones for a while. Mind you I've purchased somewhere around 10 for myself, my Husband, and our kids over the course of the last few years as they are affordable Android devices that serve the purpose of what we're looking and typically hold their own in regards to camera, apps, network capability, etc. I can even overlook the amount of bloat ware that come with because I just pop in more memory in the other SD slot and I'm good to go with whatever apps I want.Selfie 3 wasn't bad in that area, but it crashed often. Overall, just disappointed in this phone. Would not buy it again.Pros: I'm giving it 2 stars for these reasons. The phone was a good size, has a clear screen for viewing. Takes clear pictures with both front and rear cams. Sound is decent during calls. It can compete on the Android market using Google Play for App download. Any apps you find on there, the Selfie 3 is capable of handling..for the most part. Disclaimer: Aside from my previous rant about. Lol. Good luck with game play. If you are an intense gamer, this phone probably wouldn't be able to handle that. Just using apps such as Instagram, Snapchat, sometimes even FB messenger to video chat would cause it to freeze up and crash the app/reset.

Good basic Phone for Today's user
Very nice phone. Clear and crisp display, and the blu has noticeably increased the touch-sensitivity of their screens. Very good responsiveness and app start-up times. Came with a bare-bones silicone case, (which is better than nothing, don't get me wrong), the phone, a charger and USB wall adapter, and a tool to remove the SD card tray. Blu used to include a heavy-duty, custom made screen protector with their phones as well as headphones; the "screen protector" with this one is a very light-duty clear sticker which came pre-applied to the phone, and no headphones were included (no big issue). I'll probably end up getting a higher-quality screen protector later on, but the included one is a good in-between. This is my 3rd Blu phone, and I am satisfied again. I did have to use scissors to cut my SIM card down to size as this phone takes nano SIMS, the smallest size currently available. And the fact that Blu makes you format your SD card to the phone is kind of inconvenient. I lost all the data on my SD card out of my old Blu when I transferred it because I was unable to back up the data, and I had to format it to my new phone in order to use it; thus destroying my music, pictures, apps, etc. I can rebuild, but that is a negative if you don't use cloud storage for everything. As with my previous Blu phones, this one's RAM gets used up quick if you're switching between apps, but if you download a booster like CleanMaster and close out of apps when you're done, you can keep it going smoothly. I expect to get a good 8-12 months out of this phone.

But it works just as good as any other phone
I read a lot of questions and answers about this phone and i almost didn't buy it. But I am a fan of Blu Phones so I bought it anyway. So to clear up some of the questions. Yes this phone does work. Must be fully charged and the battery life I've gotten so far is 5 hours. I am with T-mobile and i have the small sim card(which is needed for this device) If your phone didn't come on when you first received it, its probably because it was needed to be charged, my phone was only on 13% when i received it. But it works just as good as any other phone. This phone doesn't have a built in music app which i will miss but everything works greats. Also I love the camera quality on this phone. I hope this helps someone.

All around not as good as the studio selfie 2
All around not as good as the studio selfie 2, except for the metal casing. I liked that Android version better than this one. The price and included accessories were better. I cracked the screen on a hike and the 2 was unavailable. BUT it's 80 bucks. It still rivals a 2-3 hundred dollar phone. BLU- go back to the better battery and version with developer options. Get rid of the Sim card tray and make the batter removable. And the headphones were a nice touch. Hint hint...

A good phone so far but poor in essentials accessories!
PROS:+ Both cameras are very good+ The aluminium housing is good to avoid damages.+ Everything works fine so far (connectivity, apps, storage).CONS:- The battery is not removable- You only can use one simcard and the sd card at once- If you want use your micro sim card , you must cut it to the nano sizes.- The phone did not turn on by the first time when I took the phone out from their box. The battery was completely discharged, so I had to charge it all night along.-- How it is possible this model does not bring screen protector and earphones like many other previous BLU cell phones?.

Missing Accessory! Now ok!
Charger was not in the box! Also kept asking for a pin # on initial start up had to do a hard reset to make it run! Makes you wonder if it was truly new! As Chinese would say "be chairful"! Update: phone was replaced with a new one everthing's ok. Phone works well. Seller was very acvomodating!
