VASSARETTE Women's Soft 'N Smooth Wire-Free T-Shirt Bra 72239

If you have been buying thses bras for a long time, they ARE different than they used to be. Another reviewer said this, and it is true. The cut is different than it was, though the style number is the same. What is pictured is the old cut. They aren't bad, per se, but If you're looking for the same bra you have bought for years, you won't get it; they have changed. Pictured is one a couple years old (tan) on top of the one I got today (white).

I really wanted to like this bra, as I usually just love Vassarette.. This one just fit so whacky. I understand "wire free" bras fit differently, but the boobs on this bra, were ridiculously higher, than a normal breast should be. Not even the perkiest of boobs, would like this bra. Just had to put this out there.

I have been wearing this brand and bra style for many years and I bought several of them years ago. Recently, I decided to expand/upgrade, so I made sure to purchase the exact same size as the others I own. Well, these bras have changed. The cups were somewhat larger which I could somewhat accept. The issue was the sides of the cups near the armpit and the straps were painfully scraping red marks into my skin. After wearing one for a whole day, I could not wait to take the thing off! Why-oh-why did they have to mess up a good thing? I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but I think that it is important to let others know the truth.

36A, I usually clasp on the first hook but for this bra I am using the last one. Fit's my droopy mom boobs just fine. After being washed and worn a few times it's gotten more confortable. The chest straps could be softer all the way around, or lined with something softer. I am stay-home-mom currently so I wear this bra when people come over. I just don't like bras in general (either they don't fit, they itch, or they pinch) but after having 2 children I have to wear one whenever I leave the house, otherwise I might blind someone with my flat chest.

These are ridiculously comfortable. I've used all types of bras, and nothing compares to these in comfort or support. I'm 5'7", 125lbs, 32A. These provide support while not squashing my breasts flat like push up bras do. I actually, oddly, have more volume with these than any bust-enhancing bra I've tried. Ironic because these aren't meant to enhance anything, and really don't add anything that's not already there. They do have slight padding, maybe 3/8" thick to avoid any unwanted shape. (Cold air, ladies. It happens to all of us!) These are my go-to bra for pretty much everything beside strapless. I've played soccer and ran track, (granted with a thin elastic sports bra over the top) stood up in front of hundreds of people to give speeches, worn tank tops and summer dresses, and sleep in these regularly with no complaints. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.

I have been wearing this bra for years. Usually get them at Wal-Mart, but this time couldn't find my size. I am small so grateful I don't need the uncomfortable under wire. This bra gives just enough padding to help shape without pushing my little girls together to where they look like they'll pop out. It appears they made a slight adjustment adding a bit more material between the cups, which I like. I do wish they were a bit less expensive and more colors were offered, but guess you can't have everything.

I purchased this in a 34A. I will say that the cup is a little on the larger side, but the way that it is made you don't see any gaps up top, so I only noticed because I'm used to being a little flatter. Fabric on the inside of the cup is loose, which at first I didn't find appealing, but once on I don't even notice it and it feels fine. Band is good and straps are comfortable. Works with a bra clip if you use those. Also, I didn't even notice the wire-free effect! It feels so good--I was afraid it'd feel odd at the bottom, like slipping, but I honestly feel like I'm wearing a normal bra.

It may seem un-American or unbelievable to say, but many of us small-busted women do not want to be larger. Nor do we want breasts that look like cantaloupes, honeydew melons or any other globular shaped fruit. I ordered this bra because I thought it would be a good substitute for the Vasserette lace-trimmed, wireless plunge bra, a style I've worn for years but is being discontinued--at least in small sizes. Not so. The cups of this Soft 'N Smooth bra have thicker padding and are very round and stiff. Maybe multiple washings would soften the shape but I've decided to return the order of 2. One good thing I have to say about this item is that the price is very reasonable.

This is the ONLY style of bra I've worn for fifteen-plus years. It's supremely comfortable-I loathe underwires- and the quality is pretty much unchanged. Happy to find it can be delivered from the US without punitive import taxes/charges. Thanks!

First bought these bra's in USA failed to find equal in UK, so pleased I can replenish my undy drawer via smashing Amazon.

I've had the 36A before (though I'm normally closer to a 34A), and it did well and looked great under Tshirts and sweaters. The back strap loosened a lot over time, however, even when wearing on the loosest setting to avoid over-stretching.Being pregnant I had to go up a size, and found the 38B to be snug on the ribcage and quite large in the cup. The shape of the foam cups is also much more exaggerated than at the smaller size, and looks less natural to my eye. Still, a more comfortable bra than most thanks to no underwire, and very reasonable price.

These bra,s are very comfortable .Love that they don,t have a wire but still give great support .Will purchase more in the future

Overall a good quality product. A bit of creasing in the fabric over the cup area when I first put it on - smoothing it out works fine.
