Great for ruler work or free motion!
Loving this foot! It is easy to see where I’m going & works well with my quilting rulers. Free motion is super easy with it too. The included instructions make it easy to put on. A go to quilting foot!

Now I can ruler foot quilt!
A little finicky to get installed just right but once it is installed it works wonderfully. Ruler feet can be quite expensive and this budget one works great if you are willing to make the effort to install it correctly. There was a needle spacer included with blurry useless instructions. I contacted the company for clarification and they got back to me right away and helped me out.

Was disappointed because I was looking forward to trying my quilt ...
Did not work well with my machines, either my brother or my singer. :( . Was disappointed because I was looking forward to trying my quilt rullers.

For all Bernina users, you need the #75 adapter foot to use this. Its my go to ruler foot. Excellent.
WONDERFUL. I have a Bernina 740 and Bernina's ruler foot #72 that cost $95. This ruler foot works EXACTLY like the the #72 foot, just remember to use the spacer washer (that is comes with) to completely center it. Being 100% see through, its my choice when doing ruler quilting. Also, you have to have the Bernina #75 adapter foot to put this foot on. If you already have this foot, you are set. However, if not, the total cost will be close to the $95 you would spent for the #72 Bernina ruler foot.

Works but... there's a slight mod needed for Singer and Janome low shank machines.
I loved the idea of using templates to quilt with and thought this foot would help me do that. But what I didn't count on is both my singer and janome low shank sewing machines have a shank that drops down longer below the screw than the one shown in the picture. I have to prop something in between the lever that lowers my foot to keep it up high enough to get a template under it other wise I couldn't fit a template under it to maneuver it for use. I have tried it on both my singer and Janome machines and both have the same problem. I am disappointed its not a perfect fit. Note: For some reason on my singer I can't use it as the foot has to be a bit lower for needle clearance but even the prop for the lever won't let the needle go all the way down and it skips stitches and breaks thread, so I'm just going to have to quilt with this foot on my old Janome, it seems to do well even with the lever propped up for clearance. Will add pictures to show the problem later tonight.

Adventures in Quilting
I finally got up the courage to install it. It works fine! I need to work on technique, but I see a bright quilting future.

I love this ruler free motion foot
I love this ruler free motion foot. I actually like it better than the free motion foot that came with my machine (Janome MC6300). I like that it's clear so I have a much better visual of what I'm doing.
