My 10 yo wears age 11-12 underwear he has a chunky bottom but is slim every where else, which would be best age 9-10 or 11-12?

Hi, I bought my 9 year old the 11-12 he’s very slim but he had grown out of the 9-10 .I think the fits are small so maybe try 11-12 there is a draw cord to tighten if loose .hope this helps
