My cats have been using this product for 5 years now and have not gotten fleas or ticks. They are indoor cats but I let them on my patio supervised and I have two Australian shepherds who spend a lot of time outside in dirty areas where they could easily pick up fleas or ticks and bring them home to the cats. Much cheaper with the same active ingredient of the veterinarian-recommended version.

Warning to all cat caregivers: if you have multiple cats, you must separate them after applying topical flea treatments. Cats groom each other, and flea treatments can kill them if they do. I lost a cat to this.

Upon opening the package, you'll find individually packaged, small, individual packets inside. Each dose of the deworming medicine is sealed in its own plastic wrapper. This not only makes it easy for cat owners to dispense the correct dosage, but also effectively protects the quality of any remaining medicine, preventing it from being exposed to air for extended periods after opening, which could affect its effectiveness. The main active ingredients in this deworming medicine are cyfluthrin and pyriproxyfen. Cyfluthrin is a broad-spectrum insecticide that rapidly acts on the nervous system of fleas and other parasites, paralyzing and killing them. Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth regulator that interferes with flea growth and development, hindering their reproduction and thus controlling flea populations at the source. In actual use, the TevraPet Actispot II has demonstrated strong flea prevention and control capabilities. Regular use on cats according to the product instructions can effectively reduce the risk of flea infestation and alleviate skin itching and allergies caused by flea bites. However, it should be noted that while this product is highly effective against fleas, its effectiveness against other parasites, such as ticks and mites, may be relatively limited. If your cat's living environment is complex and at risk for multiple parasite infections, a combination of other targeted deworming medications may be necessary. When using deworming medication on cats, ease of use and cat acceptance are key concerns for many owners. The TevraPet Actispot II excels in this regard. Its simple use requires simply parting the hair at the back of your cat's neck to expose the skin, then applying the dropper vertically onto the skin. The entire process requires no complex techniques, making it easy even for novice owners. Based on cats' reactions, most cats tolerate this deworming medication well. The solution does not cause noticeable irritation upon application, and cats generally do not resist or struggle. Furthermore, the solution is quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving no noticeable marks or stains on the cat's fur or the surrounding area. Regarding safety, TevraPet Actispot II has undergone rigorous quality testing and safety assessments. At normal dosages, it is relatively safe for small to medium-sized cats weighing 5-9 pounds. However, each cat's physical condition and constitution vary, and some may experience minor adverse reactions, such as localized skin redness and itching. If a cat exhibits an unusual reaction during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a veterinarian.

Didn’t get rid of the fleas from my cats however it does kill them & they drop from the cats fur. I would recommend this product it was safe for my cats to use personally but I would still recommend to becareful what you put on your cats fur especially treatment that isn’t prescribed from a veterinary.
