My gate opener stopped working, even after new batteries were installed. My old one was the size and approx. weight of a deck of cards. These are just slightly bigger and weigh about the same as the key fob for my car. So lightweight it almost feels as though it wouldn't work, but it does! (I attribute the weight to the small disc battery vs. two AAs.). So far I've only used one, but it is light enough that I think I'll keep one in my purse, because I keep forgetting to bring mine with me when someone else drives. Took minutes to set the code to match my previous one and it worked first try. Great value!

I tested both remotes and they work wonderfully to open an apartment gate. It has 10 digit slots that you move up or down to program the gate. The slots are TINY to manipulate, but in my opinion, it is better to have a compact gate opener instead of the huge ones. I bought the 2 pack remote in case 1 stops working! Comes with batteries.Hope my review helps!
