Review: So far so good.- value rod - I got mine sept 2020 and am looking to buy more. I hope they did not change quality. Looking at all the 1 star reviews. I took it fishing in california, montana, arizona and belize. Yes the tip is super bendy allowing some fish to set themselves free - pike and bonefish will get off easily. It performs beautifully as long as you don’t try to set the hook like a maniac. Small and big mouth bass, porgy, trout, catfish, bluegill, snapper. Had some snags where I had to yank the lure, hook out of rocks and branches - still works. Aligning the guides takes a while to get used to but gets easier with practice. I also have the blqckhawk which has free floating guides. That is a pain to align. That one has the guides fixed to each segment. It will not replace a fast action or a deep sea fishing rod- you will not be able to catch swordfish with it. But in a pinch, it works. And is fun. Because of the bendy tip you feel uthe fight. I wish kastking would send me some of their products for review. Or at least the missing buttcap - haha I travel a lot. Will be ordering another one and will update here on how it goes. Pros: Portability - can have one in the car all the time Reliable so far Nice feel in hand Light Cons: It takes a little while to get used to casting accurately because of the bendy tip Lost the buttcap No other cons. I enjoy fishing with this rod. Review: Great price, very transportable, good quality - I bought the 7' medium heavy casting model. The rod collapses down to 17 inches and fits perfectly in a backpack , your luggage and is handy to keep in the car. It has a rubber protector for the eyelets when collapsed and can use the handy cardboard package for extra protection. Very strong and locks in place, great feel and very lightweight but not flimsy. Strong eyelets. I highly recommend this as a travel rod for bass and other similar species. Great value for the price

Great customer Service. UPDATE
Kastking's customer service is great went beyond to take care of me and make it right. I understand that some items slip through, but I will continue to order Kastking with customer service like they are showing to have. That goes a long way with me. Thank you. Product came with parts falling off. It looks to have been glued and not much glue was used.... The beauty ring on the tightening lug for a reel was off when I opened the box. (as you can see in the picture) I believe this product is overpriced for what it is. Hopefully the rod will last after I glue the piece back on. I tried pressing it back on, and it just falls off. You can see the little bit of glue. I was hoping for more from KastKing I have several products that are good from them.

Good for camping.
I purchased this for camping. Not for heavy duty fishing but it is great for stuffing into your backpack and taking camping for smaller fish that you would find in smaller lakes and streams. I would recommend this.

Tip breaks off after one days use
I bought the fishing rods for my grandson’s birthday. The rod looked well made and the blue color matched his reel. The first day he used it catching 6-7 ounce pond perch the tip just snapped. Really no stress but it snapped like a dry twig.
