From where is the saffron sourced?

Looking at their website, it says it's made in the US but doesn't say the source of the flower. It states it's dairy and gluten free and non-GMO.

Is this safrole free?

I looked everywhere on the jar, saw no mention of it.

To "boost energy" does this have a caffeine like, stimulant effect on the nervous system and heart rate? In a adverse way?
