Haunting Adeline Paperback – 12 August 2021

Well ...the story ended with a cliffhanger... I was a bit uncomfortable bcoz not used to reading hyper dark novel...I like zade but not the part were he and Adeline scene with gun ... Felt too cruel ... But story was nice 👍..

I gave the book 4 stars because of some printing issued, except that this book is gg and the storyline is diamond 🤌🏻...I highly recommend you reading this; but check the trigger warnings first and give it a thought that if you're comfortable with it — overall the book is a bomb, i confidentially recommend you to read it ! The story was so intriguing but after the famous "gun scene" my morals were like the hell and make me shut the book but after a day or two curiosity make me pick it up again and I don't know how but I read the whole book on two days and fell in love with both the characters. Obviously, loving Adeline and Zade was like accepting the dark side of my own mind so gotta say this book is like a personal read for me and is gonna stay on top for forever! I am excited to read the second book and I know it's soon but I have already put Zade names with heart on my social media account haha.This is my first time reading H.D.Carlton's work and I am pretty sure it's not gonna be last. I highly recommend this read but please go through the trigger warnings first ✨

The overall story of this book is good, unique... BUT.... To all the readers who plan to read this, I hope you find this review helpful ... Read this book if you believe good f*** is LOVE . Getting treated badly, but awesome dialogues to impress is ok. With all the 🔥🔥🔥 scenes which might make you ask WHY ? , but a solid cliff hanger.At the end I still wonder WHY THE HYPE....

1. This book is poorly written. The questionable contents of this book out aside, it's just poorly written-characters you don't care about, plots that go nowhere, etc.2. The main character is thick-headed, whiny, and very easy to manipulate. And the irony is that she calls herself "The Manipulator." I wish the lack of self awareness was at least funny.3. The dialogues are trying too hard to be edgy and dark and comes across as very unnatural. Had me constantly cringing.There's a lot more.

The Author of the book has crafted this book very marvelously.The title of the book is very impressive named "Haunting Adeline" (Cat and Mouse Duet Book 1). It's written by H.D. Carlton.The genre of the book is a dark romance and it has insanity. The book talks about a stalker who haunts Adeline. The book is full of ups and downs.In the book, the woman falls in love with her stalker while solving the murder mystery. The twist of the book is that it ends on a cliffhanger so read this book and you will love it a lot.Kudos to the Author. Happy Reading, Happy Learning. Highly Recommended Book.
