StarKist Premium White Chicken, 2.6oz Pouch, 1-Pack

I had pretty low expectations testing this as backpacking food, but it's flavorful and moist, tasting like actual chicken we'd cook at home. There's a hint of tuna when we open the package, but up close, it's just chickeny chicken. It has a fined grained texture in a way that works well in sandwiches or mixed with veggies in a salad, but it might be a little textureless in more complex cooked preparations. Compared to cooking and pulling apart a whole chicken at home, it saves a lot of time and effort. Plus very convenient to have in the pantry to add a little easy protein to whatever we're eating. It's also a lot more affordable (and nicer) as protein for short back packing trips than dehydrated meals. I like that it also comes in the larger packs for us to share without having to carry around the extra packaging.

These are so perfect for my MIL. The value is great especially when you do the subscribe and save. The chicken always tastes fresh and the packaging is so convenient for her! It is such a versatile choice for her as well.

What's there to not like about Starkist Chicken. It's terrific and delicious and moist. No issues at all. Great product!

Tastes great. It is pinkish and softer but over all taste is very clean no matalic or other weird after taste.

Every package is top quality white chicken. Easy to open and empty. Perfect for busy people on the go for a quick meal. Store on shelf or in refrigerator. Delicious. Easier than going to the store

So much better quality and better texture and much less salty than the competition. My son in law keeps some at work for a healthy high protein healthy snack or addition for a green salad.

It's packaged chicken, but... great to make a quick and easy meal, or to add to a salad or a soup to give some extra protein. I mainly use these for backpacking and they pack down small, taste great on the trail in a wrap, and provide some needed protein. Good price for what you get, and easy to use.
