This fits into the original cigarette lighter perfectly. It looks as if my car came with this standard.My only concern (-1 star) is that the USB port is very tight and it's difficult to put in usb sticks that fold in to hide like the sandisk cruzer. When trying to place the usb in, it folds back so you have to really give it some effort to use the port. Same goes for unplugging anything from the port.I haven't tried the aux, but I imagine it's fine. Mine is attached to a bluetooth headunit so it's highly doubtful I'll ever need to use it.

I was hoping to place this receptacle in one of the empty spots on my FJ Cruiser's button panel. No way! It's HUGE. it doesn't need to be nearly this size! It's like you were getting intimate with a girl and she said "let me pull out some toys" and you picture something discreet and pink....well it ends up weighing 10 pounds and is big and black. Wow. Works well with CarPlay & my iPhone 6 lightening cable...so I got that going for me, which is nice...

The was the only connector I could find which had both USB and Aux on the same plug. I took out one of the two 12V receptacles in my truck and this fit perfect. I did have to use a little epoxy on the plastic nut to keep it from backing off. I also put a dab of epoxy against the shell and the truck to keep it from spinning in the opening.Overall, makes a perfect install into an existing 12v receptacle.

Gets the job done but the plastic on the bottom of the USB pushes up into the connector making it extremely tight for a usb cable. Buy one cable just for this because this will damage the usb connector. I sent the original back and ordered a second which is exactly the same. It did fit the cut out of the cigarette lighter in a 2010 half ton silverado.

Used this to plug into the USB and AUX port located in the back of my car stereo. Replaced my cigarette lighter port on the dash with this. Fits perfectly in the hole. Comes with a bracket to mount in other places but i dont use the cigarette lighter port so i just removed it. The unit comes with multiple ways to mount. The nut that screws on the back and the housing of the unit are all rubber but still are strong and they dont flex too much. Only issue i had was after installing it the flap cover was not straight so when trying to twist it the 'hinge' part got torn and the flap fell off but not a big deal because it still fits over and stays on without issues. It actually has a snug fit so no worry about it falling off.

This product is functioning well and good but the material is very cheap quality rubber made outer and even the screws. Also the USB adapter is too tight, still it reads the USB device so quick and also the 3.5 mm jack works great. still its not a 5 star product for this price...

I bought this item at the same time I bought my new car stereo that has USB and Aux inputs on the back. The stereo came with USB and Aux cables to run from the unit's rear to wherever, but I didn't want cables dangling from between the dashboard panels of my Jeep, or inside my glove-box, or inside my console. Turns out, this thing fit perfectly into the hole left behind from removing one of the cigarette lighters in my dashboard (as other reviewers have mentioned), which made for a very professional- and clean-looking install (see picture). I would highly recommend this product to anyone using an in-dash stereo with rear USB/Aux inputs! No matter where you intend to install it, it looks so much better than loose cables just sticking out.

Does not work with a Pioneer AVH-4200 NEX - Android Auto with my Galaxy Note and did not work when I tried it on my Kenwood 1 DIN unit. It charges but no Android Auto. Will try some others
