Baby's Birthday Hardcover – January 1, 1972

I'm a retired teacher (with Reading Certification) and this is my absolute favorite children's book of all time! The pictures are precious and I wish this book were still being published by Golden Books (1972). It makes the ideal gift for a little one-year-old's birthday. My second favorite children's book is also illustrated by Eloise Wilkin and is the Random House (1980) version of Baby's Christmas. Eloise Wilkin was a mother of 4 and was Little Golden Books' most prolific and well-loved illustrator.

Read this book to my daughter 31 years ago on her first birthday and she loved it. Our original was so well-loved it fell apart and this was the only way I found to obtain a copy to read to my granddaughter. Wish I could have found a new copy, but am very glad to have this one.
