Awesome set of glassware!
Took a chance and picked up a damaged warehouse deal for about half price. I figured if I received 8, or even 6, of the glasses intact, I was still ahead of the game for the listing price of 4. Upon receiving my order, the items were repacked in a plain brown box, of the same size as the original, and then placed into another with crumpled brown paper for cushioning. Not 1 damaged glass! I was elated!I had been looking at these glasses for some time and read all the reviews. I was hesitant to buy because some reviews stated the glasses were fragile and break easily. I find that hard to believe, unless kids are using them or they're being banged against the sink. These glasses have a weighted bottom and are very sturdy. The weight actually surprised me, though not heavy. Although taller than a regular drinking glass, they are smaller in diameter and easy to hold...even having CT and RA in my hands. They are classy looking and will go with any place setting.I love these glasses and am glad I was able to get them through a warehouse deal.

Excellent price, and versatile for everyday use and special occasions
The price was really good; glasses are six or eight-sided, so the flat sides are very easy to hold, and they look great with my fine china. I needed a new set of "good" glasses since my old ones had gotten etched from the dishwashing soap, and were no longer attractive. I also wanted something that I could handle with my arthritic hands, and that the kids wouldn't easily knock over. These seemed to fit the bill all the way around. I haven't had them that long, so couldn't speak to durability, but they do not feel fragile, but are not thick like bottle glass. Fulfilled all my expectations!

Modern Everyday Glassware
I received these today and was very pleased. They are modern and sturdy have made it through the dishwasher without incident. I would recommend them to anyone in need of good looking and very functional glassware. I was concerned, however, that UPS delivered the package with a big dent in one side and one of the flaps partially torn. Luckily, the glasses were very well packed in the manufacturers box and none were damaged. As they were left on my doorstep despite the fact that I was at home all day, I assume UPS was afraid I wouldn't sign for it because of the damaged condition and would have to take it back.

These are "seconds"
The glasses were new and intact, no problems with that. However, they are definitely seconds. Each glass has a flaw, mainly at the interior bottom of the glass where it is not level. This is not completely obvious without some inspection so I don't feel that it will impact the use of the glass. Still a beautiful glass, sturdy and large. I also ordered the small 9.5 oz. tumblers which turned out to have a similar flaw. This should be advertised on-line though. I have a set of this glassware purchased over ten years or more ago and was unable to find replacements for the set in any stores. Was glad to be able to restock.

Heavy No-Tip Base
I chose these glasses because of the heavy base, and footprint size. They do not take up unnecessary space nor do they tip easily. They are very easy to hold due to angled sides. Good for entertaining as they go with a casual or formal table setting. Lastly, they are very clear and good looking. I bought a dozen but plan to order more as backups.

Back for another set
I have hand problems and these are perfect for me. The flat sectioned sides are easy to grab and feel which way is up, and the heavy bases make them harder to knock over* - harder but not impossible, that's why I'm back. I do break one every month or two, but they get knocked over enough that that's an acceptable rate of attrition. They are perfect for water throughout the day. They do slump some, I'd guess from being removed from the molds a little earlier than optimum. That said they are made in the USA. Some of my oldest ones do show a little etching/haziness but that is probably caused by our water.* When I first started having these nerve issues I thought plastic would make sense. Nope they not only knock over with no effort at all, they end up rolling/bouncing around the room.

My kitchen cabinet finally found its soulmate(s)
If this style of glassware even somewhat catches your eye, go for it and I promise you'll be glad you did. I found that the only way I could fully appreciate these tumblers is after having seen them in person... They look great, and arguably just as important, they feel great in your hand (multi-sided, thick, sturdy). I don't think there's a way to say this without it sounding just slightly bizarre, but as far as glassware goes, these puppies feel pretty darn satisfying while holding in your hand.Don't have much else to say other than that I've been very satisfied with this purchase.

Disappointed
I’ve used this brand and style/pattern for many years.- over 20 years. I love this pattern because they are simple and glasses don’t bulge or flute so they store well (don’t take up unneeded cabinet space b/c they are straight) and the short glasses can stack if you put the bottom one upside down. So, i just love this simple pattern. However, they are making them lower and lower quality. It’s gotten ridiculous. Every 5 years or so I order more to replace ones I’ve broken (they break much easier now than they did 20 years ago). This order was really bad. One came broken and they were packaged very well so I just know it left the warehouse with the crack! Almost all of them came with the bottom of the glass sloped (refer to my photos). The uneven bottom actually doesn’t bother me too much as long as it sits on the table straight but it’s worth mentioning. Several of my glasses came really warped looking. One came with the rim of the glass all funky (refer to photo). That glass and the broken one are not usable. I guess after all these break, I’ll finally chance my pattern and go with a better made brand.

Not as durable as I had hoped
They are nice, but already a crack at the top of one of them and they have not been mishandled.
