Perfect for OneWheel riding!
This is a very solid skate shoe. It is heavier than most sport shoes I wear, but this also lends itself to the formidable nature of the shoe. The black color and lack of obnoxious logos allow me to wear the shoes in the office.I primarily bought these shoes for use on a OneWheel electric skateboard. Other shoes had flex and/or let my foot move around. Not the case with the Etnies Swivel. I feel confident and balanced on the OneWheel, properly riding it like a snowboard due to having my entire foot "locked in" and getting a good grip on the board.

Not the same as the good old days
Etnies makes them cheap now compared to the ones I had in 2008. Not a terrible shoe overall, it’s just okay, but definitely nowhere near the old quality. I had the black and pink Etnies (with the old sideways E logo) and they were so thick they saved my feet from a weed whacker before I had to finally lay them to rest. Those shoes put up with some abuse for the last 10 years, so much that the soles were wearing thin.On the plus side they are a little lighter than the old ones.Don’t think I’ll be buying any new Etnies soon.

etnies rock... amazon sucks...
a little small but I knew that etnies always have been order half size bigger and break them in and as expected they rock....a little too much though in store prices maybe $10 bucks less I'm losing faith in amazon

these shoes felt very comfortable, but tight in the toes
When I first received them, and tried them on, these shoes felt very comfortable, but tight in the toes. My pinky toe was feeling cramped and rubbed raw. Now after a few wears, I think I've broken them in, and they don't feel quite as tight and cramped. Decent shoes. Understated style.

These shoes fit perfect!
I always wondered why my big toes used to hurt in a size 12 even though I am a size 11 and a half. It is because I needed a size 13 which is what I purchased by accident but turned out to solve my toe problem. Plus these shoes fit perfectly. In my old shoes my feet were hurting every time I put them on but with these my feet stopped hurting that day. I would recommend this brand of sneaker to anyone who has had trouble with a fit because these worked!

Good shoes but I’m kinda sad about how I stepped in gum the first time ngl
Personally I wore them once. I wish I wore them more but I lost them, which confuses the hell out of me but that’s alright you guys don’t need to know about how I somehow lose hard to lose objects, hell I misplaced my monitor and was looking for it for hours before realizing I placed it in the closet as I was moving stuff. Anyways they felt nice as far as I remember only issue I had was I stepped in gum the first time I wore them and I cried internally.

Poor quality. They don’t last.
I’ve had these shoes about 2 years. I don’t wear them every day, but they are my only sneakers. The shoes were never comfortable. They never really broke in. Despite that, about six months ago the sole separated from the rest of the shoe directly under the main pad of the foot. Its like walking on a bubble. They are ruined. This is the worst value for my money I’ve ever gotten from a major shoe brand. Not the brand they used to be, that’s for sure.

Just runs a little Small, make sure to order one size larger.
Very nice shoes, just runs a little small I normally wear a "8.5" in almost every shoe, I was skeptical about purchasing a "9" cuz I thought it would be too large so I went ahead and ordered"8.5" and turns out it fits with a little squeeze, a size 9 would've been the perfect fit but nonetheless I still decided to keep it, this shoe is beautiful especially in the day and it's even more beautiful at night very black I love that about it.

Nice shoe, but small compared to Vans.
Nice skate shoe, but sizes are much smaller than Vans equivalent. I've been wearing UK8.5 Vans Churchills for as long as I can remember, but Etnies' UK8.5 are painfully small, especially in width. Sadly have had to return them.

Harder to break in than my Airwalks
Much harder to break in than my previous pair of airwalks. Still, they look good and are worth the money if you don't mind wearing wooden blocks on your feet for a few days!

Smaller than the last pair, even though they are meant to be the same size?
