LG Electronics 22LJ4540 22-Inch 1080p IPS LED TV (2017 Model)

Very reasonable price on a small TV for my RV. I have used this for a few years now and wanted to let folks know that it is a quality LG product. Still gas a great picture and operates as expected. It's only used through the winter months while traveling up and down the eastern coast of the states, but once turned on it stays on, for usually 2 weeks before it's time to pack up and continue the journey.LG does indeed make a great durable product at a very reasonable price.5 STARS

This is a good TV, great features for a small TV, exactly what I was looking for - one of the very few small TVs with native 1080p resolution and probably one of last NON-smart TVs. You plug in the streamer of your choice but you are followed around by the TV itself. The other problem this model was the stand. This smaller TV included a center stand, which fits on my study rolling TV table. The other models have legs with too wide a spread. I've been very happy with the picture and relative ease of use, although the controls are not as sophisticated as my previous TV, a Toshiba.

Needed a small TV with this type of stand (not the new cheaper v-shaped feet) and this fit the bill perfectly. A small tv with this type of stand is getting harder to find, especially one that is full HD. That said, I opted for this one knowing it was a model that was several years old and had limited connections. I only needed the HDMI connection since it would be connected to a remote satellite receiver. Set up was easy and the size of the TV is perfect for the kitchen counter. I saw a review about the size of the transformer built into the power cord, but it's not all that big and I was still able to plug it and the transformer for the satellite receiver into the same power outlet. The picture quality is very good (it is Full HD), and the viewing angle is also very good. The sound quality is okay, but I have to turn up the volume fairly high to be able to hear things clearly. It does have many sound adjustments - and once I figured out what sound adjustments were available (through trial and error mostly) I was able to get pretty good sound quality and decent enough volume out of it. The sound is pretty much what you can expect from a TV this small, although the TV it replaced did have greater volume (it was just slightly larger in size). Overall I'm not sorry I purchased this TV and I'm pleased with the full HD (most TVs this size or only HD, not Full HD). For a kitchen counter TV, this one will work out just fine for my needs.

I bought this tv to replace a slightly older one I had mounted on the wall in my kitchen for years, and I am so glad I did. The picture quality is great from all angles and anywhere in the room- this was a big concern for me, as my older tv had a lot of glare and was hard to see if you were off to the side or sitting down looking up. No glare of note for this one. The sound quality is great, and it was super easy to setup. I just swapped out the old one and put the new one on the old mount. Great tv for such a great price. I would absolutely buy another one of these or purchase as a gift.

Update: Dec. 9, 2022I've been using this for a little over 1-1/2 years and it's still working great.It's picture is very clear and TV shows, movies and sports look great.For $100, it was well worth the money.Original:This TV has a great HD picture and good sound.I've had this in my kitchen for two months and it's been working great for me.The screen is matte and gets slightly washed out when the sun is really bright but that's a consequence of these TVs as opposed to the old tube TV it replaced.Hopefully I'll get at least 5 years out of it.It's sad how low the expectations are for new products.

I am a big fan of LG TVs. So, when I needed a new small tv for my office, I was immediately attracted to the LG 22 inch HD TV. I read all the reviews from the 5 stars down to the 1 stars. And despite some of the negative reviews decided to trust my past experience with LG TVs. I was not disappointed. The TV came quickly from Amazon and was easy to assemble. I had it working within minutes of receiving it. I find the picture to be quite good. I read some reviews stating that the sound was "tinny" and too low to hear. I find the sound acceptable and the sound level more than adequate. This is not a smart TV but I knew that when I bought it and do not need a smart TV in the office. If I had any suggestions to LG for a future enhancement, it would be to add more HDMI connectors on the back. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this TV to anyone seeking a small TV.

I wanted a small TV for the kitchen, but after checking all the ratings and prices, I decided to go ahead and get this one because the ratings were very good and, after the last tiny one bit the dust after less than 2 years, because I did not want to buy more trash <<insert angry face here>>!So I bought a mount and this TV, put it on the wall last week and have been eating breakfast in the kitchen ever since ... and sometimes lunch. The picture and sound are terrific, and it picked up on 66 channels on a small antenna while the big one in the living room with the big antenna in the attic only pulls in 30 something. The previous tiny TV picked up about 20.I heartily recommend this TV - I just had a feeling about it after reading even the critical reviews..Now - if LG only made cars too ...

I needed a small TV for my kitchen and this fits perfectly. My only complaints which are signicantly bothersome to me are that 1) you cannot tilt the screen at all. It is fixed in such a position that it catches glare from the window and 2) the volume is funky, when I turn it on or off there’s an indicator tone that blasts me out of the room, but when watching shows I have to turn it nearly full blast just to hear and even then I can’t hear it across the kitchen or with cooking going on. Now I know I don’t hear like I did when I was 20 but I’m not deaf either. There’s something not right about this volume control. I’ve had this for a couple months now and will settle for it but wish I’d returned it honestly. The picture is just sort of average. No complaints but it didn’t strike me as anything above average. The price was good though.

The very good picture quality of this LG TV and is the right size for my folk's kitchen, but had a lot of difficulties trying to sync tv to Telus remote and took longer than it did than the last time and as no code was provided for this tv and took me way too long to find the right code, but finally got it as I was about to return the tv. Also, this tv is the perfect size for the Kitchen and is a 1080p which is much better than the old RCA 720p tv it replaced.As a customer, I have to honestly say this LG 22 inch is a good tv but really wish they would put a sticker on the remote with the 4 digit code on it , which would really help customers out and be less frustrating. Also, I like to add I had tried to cancel this order but Amazon shipped this tv anyways and this is the second time they have shipped an item I tried to cancel and was not pleased, to say the least but when the tv arrived I just accepted it but will keep that in mind, next time I order from Amazon. I'm sure they counted on me accepting the packaged when it arrived. All in all the TV is good!

Bought two of these to replace Kitchen and bedroom TV's that went at the same time. One no picture and the other no sound. Speaking of sound. we purchased a small RCA TV to replace the first TV and it had terrible sound. Like a tin can. Awful sound and returned it quickly to Walmart. Reviewed this LG on Amazon website and found people like the sound. Purchased one and liked it so much bought a second from Amazon. Works well, sounds good and both are perfect sized for the locations

Previously bought a low-cost generic TV for this spare room location, but while cheap it still was not worth the money spent! The LG22 has a better picture and much better sound quality. Only thing is it does not have a component video (Y/Pb/Pr or red/white/yellow) input, only cable/antenna (coax) and HDMI connections.
