THERMOS Stainless King 16-Ounce Travel Tumbler, Cranberry

Best thermos you can buy. I've tried other name brand thermoses but this is the best. It keeps my coffee hot for hours and hours. Even when I pour out my coffee the following day, it is still warm. I have a silver Thermos King thermos that I have had for over 10 years. Still works great. Some of the clearcoat finish is starting to wear off from use. Doesn't affect the performance, just the looks, so I decided to buy a new one since it was on sale on Amazon. Got a red one.On road trips, my routine is to stop by Starbucks and have them fill my thermos with black coffee ($1.95). I sip the coffee for hours while driving. It stays piping hot for at least 4 hours and remains hot for another couple hours. The size is perfect. Fits in my cup holder.There is a lever on the top that you move to open or close the small opening to allow coffee to be drunk. There is a 1/4" lip that helps prevent any coffee spills. I normally leave the top set on Open (instead of constantly opening and closing). And it still stays really hot for over 4 hours. The opening in small and the way it is designed, very little heat will escape. Warning... for first half hour or so, take very small sips or you will burn your lips and tongue!The top unscrews (obviously) and both the top and container are easily washed. I just rinse with water. The top can be disassembled for a more thorough cleaning by twisting the bottom of the top. I've only cleaned mine a couple time over the years.One possible negative (at least for my wife) is when you screw the top on, it creates a seal that must expand slightly. Because unscrewing the top can be difficult and requires some strength. Even when I try not to screw the top on too hard, it still requires some elbow grease to unscrew it. In the mornings, we make a pot of coffee. I drink a cup and eat my cereal. Then I fill my Thermos with the leftover coffee and go to my home office to work (about 9am). I sip on the coffee during the day. I stop drinking coffee at 3pm (otherwise it interferes with my sleep). At 3pm the remaining coffee is still hot in my Thermos. Sometimes I don't get around to emptying it until the next morning - it is still lukewarm! and that is with me leaving the top to the "open" position.Can't say enough good things about this Thermos. To me it is a Must Buy item... even if not on special.

I ready many many reviews on several thermos brands & styles before settling and purchasing this product. I chose it because it was the best value product. The top 3 features I was looking for: 1. I like that it is 16oz size. 2. I like that it keeps cold COLD and hot HOT for hours at a time; I especially agree with the reviewer who said her hot coffee was still piping hot HOURS later. 3. I like the "open/close" switch - no broken or sensitive buttons from frequent use here.Additionally, I like the "slow pour" feature, so that the piping hot liquid doesn't come rushing out, but there's a deep lip to allow you to better control the speed of pouring when tipping the cup up to your mouth! Yes, the paint does chip at the slightest ding. No, I don't care about that. I mainly commute by bicycle and this canister goes everywhere with me everyday. I've had it for 3 months and 3 weeks as of this review date. And the "chipping" is very minor. it looks more like a few car key scratches along the bottom half of the mug (I'm probably the only one who notices).This thermos is very durable. I use it only for hot tea and cold water. I don't use it for coffee or sugar drinks. I've never run it through a dishwasher. I only wash it by hand. I like the handle-free style because it fits in cup-holders and is space-saver in my backpack when riding.The only critique I have on this product is the bottom of the mug. It would have been nice if the bottom was that "antislip" foam material, but it is not.The bottom is that same metallic material, so it does slid around easily on top of the desk. There's one reviewer here who detailed how they added a non-slip bottom to theirs. If I had the patience, maybe one day I'll do the same to mine.All in all, I recommend this product and would buy it again if I find use for a 2nd one.

Around 8-9 years ago, I needed a leak-proof way to transport my coffee to and from work and keep it warm. I found these mugs and thought the price was a little high ($16-17 at Walmart), but my wife and I decided to give them a try. Boy, I'm glad we did.They really are leak-proof, they keep hot drinks hot for a good 6-8 hours, and iced cold drinks cold for even longer. I bought multiple ones for hot coffee and filtered ice water that I bring from home, which saves me a ton of time and money at work and on the go.They join me daily at work for years and have even travelled around the world from the USA to Thailand and back and I even used them on the long plane rides (they even refilled them for me, no question at all)!Over the years, the finish can get marred or even peel if washed too aggressively, so do take care in that regard. In fact, that is the only reason I've had to buy new ones -- the paint jobs started getting worn out, bubble, chip and peel. This was, however, after 5-6 years of daily use and travel. Basically, this is the ONLY negative about these mugs.You can buy replacement rubber seals, but none of mine have not given out yet. Cleaning is easy, although occasionally you'll need to remove the rubber seals and give them a little extra cleaning. It's easy though.Best part is Amazon stocks them, and sometimes on sale. Thank you, Amazon!Best mugs I've ever found. Highly recommend!

Fits my coffee maker perfectly. Coffee stays hot and it is light weight!! Love it!!

So much expensive, but got damaged.. but no doubt the 18 months, it kept the coffee so warm.. great buy

My only dislike is when I try to pour the coffee into a mug, it spills and drips everywhere. I like to use the coffee thermos to hold my coffee and keep it hot and just pour it out into a regular coffee cup to drink it. The thermos is so great at keeping the coffee hot that it’s almost undrinkable because it’s so hot — that’s why I like to pour it into a cup when I want to drink it.
