So I have a UC100E Honeywell with the long 36 watt bulbs. First, the fit is very tight. The plastic part of the bulb where it meets the glass should seat about 1/8” of an inch below the ear of the holder. I had to pull them both out to re-seat them in the holder. One of the two bulbs wouldn’t light up so I removed it. Noticed one of the female plugs in the holder was pushed in not allowing one of the pins on the bulb to seat and make connection. The handle comes apart by removing two star like screws. Once apart, you can push the female plug back into position. Both lamps now work. Let’s just see how long they last. Packaging and delivery were first class.

I purchased this bulb twice. Both times I purchased 2 for my Honeywell UV100E. The first time I purchased these bulbs they lasted just over a year, literally. The second time I purchased them (June 1, 2023 - received & installed on June 6, 2023) they only lasted 3 months (September 6, 2023). Vender says they have a 1 year warranty. I tried to call the vender about the warranty but every time I called I went to voice mail. I did leave a message but they never called me back. I finally called Amazon customer service and they ask me to return them to them and gave me a refund. I have used many of these bulbs in the past from other venders and also OEM bulbs. Most will last around 2 years.

Just noticed the original bulb from the HW unit was out after nearly 2 years. This replacement was very well packaged. At first it would not light up and I was extremely annoyed. Could the old bulb burnt out in a way that destroyed the light-base? After checking some things I came across documentation reminding me that one of the mounting screws is actually a failsafe switch that needs to be tight. I then vaguely remembered having this problem during the initial install. Checking now, it seemed secure, but still got around a 1/8 rotation turn on it and presto, it turned on. Definitely not a fan of this "feature", so heres a friendly reminder to check that mounting screw if your replacement bulb gives you trouble (or if your bulb is out, but doesn't seemed burned). For my part, I added a much more obvious warning on a piece if tape over the screw slot so I don't have to go through this again in a year or 2.

There are notches in the bulb base that correspond with protrusions in the Honeywell socket. The attached pictures are of the correct bulb base. This bulb has no notches in the base. The base was too big anyway, scrapped off metal tape inside socket trying to get it in before realizing the protrusions were keeping it from going in anyway. Was able to return easily, but still incorrect description.
