TRASH! Zero star rating possible ?
Had my 5 pots planted and patiently waited for these to bloom. Was supposed to be a beautiful set! What I got was THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE LMAO!! They finally grew after WEEKS of waitng. When they did grow, they were ORANGE AND TRASHY LOOKING!! All I could do was laugh and saw y'all got me good on this one!. Needless to say I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying from here. I threw the rest of seeds in the trash right where they belonged!

Def NOT vanilla marigolds!
Total waste of my time & money. The flowers are orangish yellow. These must be old seeds. The flowers are like deformed & the stems are hollow like a straw. I'm mad & very disappointed. I planted the seeds a bit late. All summer I babied them & soooo looked forward for them to bloom. It took what seemed like a long time for buds to appear. Not even worthy of a one star rating.

good germination
Germinated quickly. Haven't seen the blooms yet to verify variety but looking forward to it!

Not white and not rare
None of these bloomed white. They are common-place yellow-orange marigolds; the kind anyone can get about a hundred seeds per bloom from on their own. To collect these and sell them as rare is fraudulent. This seller should be removed from Amazon.

So far, so good. UPDATED!
Germination occurred very quickly and I saw sprouts in about 4 days. So far, there's no way to tell the color of the blooms and I may have to revisit here after that occurs to update whether or not I was burned on the deal. I didn't use the whole package yet so my germination rate will be focused on what went into the dirt. I planted 24 seeds and counted 20 sprouts which is a very good germination rate in my honest opinion. The one negative I took from this, is the fact that the seeds come in a translucent baggie and made me worry if the seeds were in harsh lighting environments. I'm used to opaque pouches that dampen light.UPDATE: The blossoms are not white (unlike as advertised) and my review has been adjusted accordingly. These are Tagetes erecta (mexican/african marigold). They grow tall and spindly and produce beautifully bright orange blossoms. 2 stars is solely for shipping and handling as well as for delivering a product that is not defective (just not the right color). The seeds grow and work as a pest repellent, but would ruin plans for someone that was hoping to have white flowers.

None of the flowers are white!!!
I was so looking forward to seeing White Marigolds again, but SADLY these were all small 2 tone orange blooms. This was a rip-off!!! The plants are healthy but no white blooms!
