Beyond Paper Dolls: Expressive Paper Personas Crafted with Innovative Techniques and Art Mediums

This is a REALLY wonderful book for creating your ownlittle paper personas! I made about 32 paper dolls with faces of all my friends using one of the templates from this book. It was also offered at a really reasonable price point and arrived in mint condition though it was used.

Okay, I love Lynn's work and her aesthetic sensibilty. I love how she references art history and modern design in her work. In this book she focuses only on the doll form and gives us an amazing sampling of how fellow artists played with this concept. A true mixed media delght!!

As a paper doll artist, the diversity of artist's represented is inspiring. Would welcome more depth of detail about process, but then, that is part of the fun challenge is to figure it out.

I found this a well-presented book, with lovely pictures, but felt it was none too informative and many of the vignettes seemed to have no theme, just a lovely mish-mash of items put together and have been done before.

I would recommend this beautiful book to anyone who loves crafts, working with paper, or who knows the exquisite artwork of Lynne Perella.

Excellent condition -- although the book was listed as used, it seems brand new. I am very happy with this order.

I waited quite awhile to buy this magazine because of the price. I finally had to have it so bought it. It is a beautiful book with great photography but is not worth the price.More like $12.99 would maybe be worth it. And it really isn't much beyond paper dolls. It IS Paper dolls

I recommend this to any 3D, mixed media artist. Lots of great ideas and inspiration. Luscious pictures and lots of examples.
