Reel is great, cast about a hundred yards, line capacity not as claimed, had to strip30 yards of spectra , reel holds 270, not 300 as claimed, put 300 on it and it rubs the reel foot. But it cast l ikke a dream, drag is exceptional.

For a lightweight reel it has more drag than what you could ever possibly use ,and cast great

The reel was shipped in the actual reel box. No outer packaging at all. The shipping label was broken, so someone got in the box to take a look. Fortunately, the reel seems to be in good condition. No scratches and doesn't appear to be used. Hopefully no items were missing out of the box. Just an unsettling feeling. Oh and yes. To confirm what other reviewers are saying about the handle. It is different than what is pictured. Doesn't have the counter balance handle. Still will work as a power handle. No big deal I guess.

I really like how this reel can stand up to the usual abuse brought about with saltwater fishing. I use this reel for sturgeon specifically because it’s lightweight and fits my loomis sturgeon rod like a glove. The drag has yet to fail me. I fish 80lb braid and it holds enough to land just about anything I’ve hooked. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I really like this real! I prefer a baitcasting reel over a spinning reel for most applications, and this reel exceeds my expectations. It's a beast of a reel. It seems to be twice the size of of Shimano Curado 200. I use mine for surf fishing on a Okuma Cedros CSX 11' rod. It doesn't cast any further than my spinning reel, but I can launch a 3 oz lure about a hundred yards. I also use it on an 8ft live bait rod and fish for King Mackeral. The bait clicker is a nice feature and the drag can handle hard charging fish with ease. I'm taking this reel to Cabo in May and hope to land a boss Rooster Fish.

This thing let’s you cast like your a veteran fisherman. A little birds nesting if you thumb it too quickly or too late but it is great. Still need a little practice. I wish it had a bit more capacity, when I cast I’m getting about half of the line out there if I hook a big one it won’t take much for him to spool me.
