SureFit Vintage Faux Leather - Recliner Slipcover - Brown

Description and pictures are misleading. It says it has pockets on both sides but actually only the right side pockets are usable. The left side pockets are on the underside and not usable. The pictures shows two different views with pockets, The left hand view must be an invert picture because there are no pockets on the left side except the ones on the underside. There is a seam that runs across the rear where the back attaches to the seat. I’v tucked it in but it seems to work itself out as soon as you sit down. Also the back just flips over the recliner, not sure how long it will remain in place. The material is extremely nice. Both sides are soft and comfortable. I only gave it 3 stars due to the misleading description and pictures.

The Sure Fit Vintage Leather slipcover looks great. We had another cover but it lost its shape and always looked sloppy. The Sure Fit Vintage Leather slipcover has more body to it and drapes beautifully on the chair. You can reverse it to the shearling side on days when you need more warmth. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I had to make a modification. I attached a fabric covered elastic strap to the top with a button and then secured it to the bottom underside of the recliner. That prevented the top from sliding down when you get up.

It fits the recliner I bought it for, and of course the dogs love it because it is nice & soft. The pocket on the right side covers the recliner button, which most recliners have. Not sure if the manufacturer plans to release a left pocket version or not. The softer material may not be as durable as what a faux leather (pleather) would be, especially for those people with pets. Time will tell if this will last longer than what the recliner fabric did (one year).

Looks great and fits like I had hoped. I would of given it 5 stars had this slipcover come with some kind of strapping to keep it in place. My creative wife sowed in some elastic straps and snaps at three points to keep slipcover from siding off and in place. I really like the rustic look and feel that this cover has. I wanted something to pad the oak side arm rest of my recliner and this does the job nicely. Side arm pockets come in handy too!

It is a very warm and comfortable slipcover but slips around too much. I need to add an elastic strap to it or order a more stationary one next time.

I wouldn't pay more than $20 had I've seen it first. Doesn't fit well, doesn't stay on the chair and has no means of keeping it from falling all the time. Just received it today, considering sending it back.
