I agree with you. It’s pretty misleading. The box says designed and engineered in California but assembled in china. Such bs that a lot of companies claim to be USA manufacturers but all there shxt is made in china

Well made strong heavy strong hook

I just received it one day ago. It looks well made. In a nice box guarantee with it. Also got some stickers with it. I have not fitted it test to my boat winch. Need disable okd one clean up winch. Sure this new stap be good last rest of life of boat. Thanks.
