Legion Supplies Cardbox: Star Realms

I previously had the smaller box that is made from plastic. I really, really liked that box, but it was not big enough to hold my Star Realms sets, so I decided to get this larger box.While it is sufficient to hold all of my cards and have some room left over, it's not nearly as nice as the smaller box. This one is cardboard, so over time, it may not hold up as well. It also has a little more width than the smaller box, so the cards have a little more room to slide around inside (I preferred the tighter fit of the smaller box).But overall, it's fine for what it is and works for what it's intended for.One thing that is not related to the product itself, but that I'd like to mention, is that the seller that I got mine from sent a Star Realms box that was crushed, even though the outer shipping box was not damaged, and my promo card was bent up inside the box. I sent the crushed one back for a replacement, and the replacement was sent in a paper envelope mailer. Thankfully, it was not damaged this time, but a paper envelope is not the best shipping option for a box like this.

For twenty bucks or less it's absolutely a bargain. You get your money's worth from the sleeves, which is 4 packs of the official Star Realms logo sleeves that fit the cards well, making the cardboard box, dividers, and bonus card, essentially, free. The box is large enough, actually a bit larger than necessary, to hold "Star Realms," "Colony Wars," plus all current expansions and promo packs, sleeved. If you have all this and use 2 sets of dividers, there's just enough empty space for an empty game box (I put the rules sheets in the box) or a few spare packs of sleeves.Sadly, it doesn't come with enough sleeves for that many cards but that's easily cured either by purchasing a pack of sleeves, or just picking up a 2nd Cardbox set (what I did as, at the time, one pack of sleeves cost almost half as much as this box).

Nice sized box that will grow with your collection: at the beginning it will fit the base set and a rubber playmat. But as you get expansions, it will have room for those extra cards. Comes with 4 dividers to help keep the cards in order and also a promo card. Box is decent quality and I've taken mine in a backpack to all kinds of locations with no problems.The sleeves are nice but I've found that they don't hold up over time with heavy shuffling. With casual play, you're fine. But if you play heavily, you're best served getting higher quality sleeves. On the plus size, the box comes with many of them so you won't run out/have extras for breaks.

I bought this because the original box I had disintegrated over time. The box seems large enough to hold a lot of expansions, and it has plenty of card sleeves. If you do not have a couple of big expansions it seems like this box would be too large, and the cards would get shuffled around a ton. As it is, I have two copies of the original game, gambits, and cosmic gambits, and they still wash around a little. The reason I took off one star is because the card sleeves have kind of sharp edges, which can be annoying when shuffling. Overall, I think it is a good purchase for those who love Star Realms!

If you have the many Star Realms expansions and want to put them in one place, this is worth picking up.Box itself seems to be constructed well and of good quality. It should be large enough for many more expansions. You'll want foam or something else to use to fill the empty space.The sleeves are OK. They fit the cards well enough. I am using them for now, but will not be upset if I need to replace them down the line.

Item all-like describe. After further examination, product's biggest disadvantage is the quality of box materials - especially inner paper's layer plus card compartments are much worse compared to the biggest Star Realms box available (alto included promo card is better ;)).

I love this box, I'm not going to collect every Star Realms item, I don't want every bit of the game, I'm not a fan of Gambits, and some event's, but I have alot of the other stuff, and this fits my game with tons of space, and lets be honest the Star Realms sleeves are the best

Wonderfull box with dividers. The sleeves alone are worth the price plus shipping. The card board is a heavy corrugated. Not sophisticated but durable and heavy enough to take a beating. The promo card is a 10. The card is not only cool but very utilitarian and will not throw off the balance of your trade deck.
