Excellent and well engineered light for use with the included headband/strap or cap..
Recharges quickly w/ micro USB, holds up to hard use, and it is just generally well engineered!Bright and low lasting beam with good warning [it flashes periodically] for declining battery charge. This is my second one so I have one for work and one for home.

The light floods very well for working up close
I Work in the marine field and am in cramped quarters much of the time. Very little light and I usually need both hands to accomplish my work in a timely manor without frustration. I have several magnetic lights but many times there is no place to stick them without using a steel plate for a base and that doesn't work a lot of times. This light tends to help out in those cases. I have only used the head band for working and only tried the hat clamp just for giggles. I don't think it will be as advantageous for me as the head band but others may find it useful. I know given it's size, the battery life won't be an all dayer but the low level brightness is enough for me most of the time which will give more battery life. If I find myself using it more than the battery can handle I will buy one or two more so I can recharge the depleted light and keep on trucking. I looked at other lights with larger batteries but they seemed much bulkier and heavier so less battery life seemed to be a good trade off and I don't think they where too expensive to have others on hand. Durability to be determined but if it's half as good as my 16 year old everyday carry Stream Light Stinger I will be ecstatic.

Reliable! And I love the Cap Clip!
I was drawn to this light for reasons that you can clip it on to a baseball cap! It comes with a head strap but I love the cap clip feature the most! I use this for work and it sure works well. The fact that it’s RECHARGEABLE is a major Plus for me! It’s compact but it can output a decent amount of light. There are 2 brightness mode settings which works great. The only minor down size is that with prolong use of a steady constant stream of light; just like any other flashlight, will drain the battery after a good amount of time. There is no indicator (like light dimming) when the battery is low. It would just simply go off after giving as much light output it can. But no worries as it is a reliable rechargeable light. Overall, it works great for me!

How to solve strobe problem.
Update:6/10/18 out of the blue one of mine started strobe flashing “a feature it doesn’t have” so instead of just clicking it on after clicking it off. I simply clicked and held the button for about 20 seconds then I released the button and clicked it on and it’s working normal again.Original review: I conducted a time test and fully charged the light last 1 1/2 hours on high and 3 on low but low isn’t bright enough for older mechanics, when I was in my 30’s low would’ve been sufficient but not now. I suggest getting three so if you have a big job you want run out of light.Get the less expensive one because the main things I read about the bad reviews is the more expensive camo ones must have a strobe light that get Permanetly stuck in the strobe mode. As a mechanic I don’t need a strobe light. The cheapest one doesn’t come with a strobe setting, only low and high.Pros: -Brightness on high is great and wide but last 1 1/2 hours on bright.- You don’t need to click through both settings because after you click it on to the setting that you prefer by the time you take you hand away that the next time you click the button it goes straight to the off position no matter if you have it set on low or high.In other words if you have it set to low and you need to turn it off a minute later, you don’t need click up to the high beam position and then click it again to turn it off. You will see.l what I’m talking about.- Works great on a hat, it’s so light until you don’t even know it’s there.-Super lightweightCons:-low beam isn’t bright enough enough for older guys about the age of 40.- the charge last only 1 1/2 hours on high and 3 on low but low isn’t bright enough for me.

Great headlamp for the price, but not perfect
I work in an auto repair shop. I own 2 of these head lamps and 2 strions and 2 stingers. There is no other flashlight company that comes close to streamlight. These lamps are not the brightest, pretty much useless on the lowest setting. These headlamps are basically supplemental lights for my main larger flashlights. These things are great because they are so small and lightweight. But they drain quick and are slow to charge. Which is why I have 2 of them. For what I do in a shop environment, I like them. As far as for other uses, I can't comment on that as I leave them at the shop. They are great when working under the dash or any tight spot that the larger headlamps won't fit

Can't say enough good about this light
When it comes to flashlights, it's hard to get a better bang for your buck. When I lost mine, I replaced it with a different brand, but it just wasn't as good so I eventually got another one of these. I also got my brother one and he loves it.The biggest downside I can see is the fact that it only has a flood light instead of a long distance beam. But even that isn't a big problem for me, as it is still plenty bright enough to light up an entire back yard.Definitely do your self a favor and spend the extra two dollars to get one with a green or red light so the bugs aren't always in your face.I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. Maybe they just got lemons. Granted, I haven't really put this light to any extreme tests but I have never had a problem with it.

The best headlamp I've ever owned
I love this thing. The battery light lasts and lasts, and I don't have to cycle through seven steps of flashing lights and brightness levels. The hat clip is perfect. Streamlight isn't the standard Chinese crapola you find on amazon. It's a quality product by a company that stands by its goods. More than worth the extra 4 bucks over the no name products.

Nice Reliable Light
I use this light mostly for early morning trout fishing. The hat clip makes it ideal and handy for tying or baiting hooks before the sun is fully up. light pattern is gentle enough to help you navigate the underbrush without shining bright light all over and spooking the fish

Very useful.
I love these. I wear a hat all day at work and one of these is on it all day. Saves having to postion a trouble light in a lot of instances. I have 3 of them. 1 I use and 2 fully charged waiting to be rotated in use. I even got one for home. Absolutely recommend.

Perfect for professional drivers performing pre-trip inspections
Bought this light to assist in performing a pre-trip inspection on my School Bus, it attaches nicely to the rim of a ball cap and is lightweight and is plenty bright! It leaves both hands free for checking the oil, transmission fluids, wheel lugs etc. I own numerous Streamlight flashlights and they never disappoint! Highly recommended!
