Perfect to keep flour fresh
This container is perfect for keeping flour fresh and airtight. No weevils or other critters can get into my flour because the lid locks down tightly. The "shelf" is perfect for wiping excess flour off of a measuring cup or spoon. I've had one of these for years and it is still in excellent condition. I ordered this one so I can have one for self-rising flour, since the other has all-purpose flour. It would also work good for sugar, corn meal or any of our dry ingredients. I'll just slap a label on it so there is no confusion on the type of flour in the container. I priced this product again other flour storage containers in my local stores and other sites, and it was the least expensive. Since I already had one I knew it was a good product. May get one cake flour. Hmm. Good idea.

THESE WORK GREAT & A NICE SIZE TOO!
Microwave not withstanding, It seems I throw away as much brown sugar as I use and then I need to buy more. These solve that; I have one for dark & one for light and I know I'll have use of all that I purchase.I started one with about a 1/2lb. that was rock hard to test; two days later it was just like a newly opened box. Size is good also, holds about 2.5lbs. They stack, they're happy &n so am I! P.S. I keep the terracotta ring on the silicone holder on the lid. works, works, works

Perfect solution
I love this brown sugar storage keeper. It keeps sugar from drying out and getting hard. I DO put a wet clay bear in with the sugar and it works great. Apple peels work too.

Using brown sugar? You NEED one of these!
This is the first storage method I’ve ever found which keeps brown sugar completely usable. I’m coming back after 7 years to buy another one since the rubber on the lid which holds the disk is shredding — $15 for 7 years of usefulness is fine by me!

No more hard brown sugar
Don't know why I held off for so long purchasing a container that is especially made for brown sugar. It does everything that it is advertised to do. Keeps my sugar fresh for long periods of time. Just soak the disc occasionally and water and reinsert and your sugar will stay the way it was meant to! No hard lumps.

Just what I needed
Excellent item. Holds well over a bag of flour, the built -in leveller is a great idea, saves all that messing about trying to level off cups off flour from the bag. Nice size, not too tall to fit in the cupboard as some of these boxes are. Seems to be airtight, time will tell.

this works fantastic
I really hate brown sugar as it goes really hard too fast and then is impossible to use in recipes. This container changed all that. I took a bag of brown sugar that was harder than diamonds and managed to get it inside this container and within 5 days it was soft and easy to use. I do re-soak the insert every 6 weeks, but i'd rather do that than throw out the brown sugar as it just can't be used. This is a must for every cooks kitchen.

Amazing! Best solution for brown sugar
I've had this for nearly a year now and I love it. I mainly use brown sugar for doing my Christmas baking and a few times throughout the year for random baking. My brown sugar stayed nice and soft for months on end which was amazing. I found after 6 months of not using it, the sugar started to harden again, I just soaked the disc for a few minutes and popped it back in the canister. The next day, it was perfect. I've had the brown sugar bears and other items that I've used, but this works best and keeps the wet disc off the sugar.

Perfectly stores flour in your cupboardGreat qualityWould rate it 5 if it weren’t for these two items1) found red levelar. wasn’t always affixed to sides of container2) grabbing container from cupboard can be a bitawkward as not much indentation for hands to graspBut otherwise .. a great option to protect your pantry items. Will buy again
