Soft , comfortable and functional
The material is soft and when you wear it, you feel comfortable. Unlike some others, you can feel a bit or some discomfort. This item really makes you feel like you are not wearing it. The quality is great and it is well made. It is also light and can fold easily to be kept away when you are not using it. Bravo...great buy.

Great product, as far as money belts go
I recently went on a week long cruise to the Bahamas with stops at various ports. Of course, I wanted to keep my cash and travel documents safe and close to me as much as possible. This is my first money belt, so I don't have much to go off of in terms of what a good money belt feels like. Thankfully, this belt was a good bet!The Civita Money Belt is comfortable and does it's job well. I was able to keep everything I needed in the pack comfortably. I have to say, thought, that sitting down for a long period of time with this thing packed to the gills can cause the pack to jam up into your stomach. Not a huge issue, but something to expect if you don't adjust yourself from time to time while sitting. My only concern with the belt is the strap. It's adjustable and I hardly notice it while wearing the belt, but I feel that it could be use a little more width. It seems strong enough, but tends to roll up and/or down your back and waist over time.Great product overall, I highly recommend!

Lightweight but cumbersome
I found the money belt didn't quite fit my passport without bending it when worn. The two other pockets were fine for change, but cash needed to be folded. Wasn't quite adaptable for the large Euro bills. Nice and lightweight and good quality though.I also purchased the Luggage Civita hidden Pocket Wallet and loved that. Took care of all my needs.

If you want to use this money belt, bring a ziploc, too!
Not happy with this money belt. China was EXTREMELY picky about the condition of bills to be exchanged. For example, they refused a pristine bill that had a tiny, tiny (< 1 mm) tear in it with no part of the bill missing! In light of this, I needed a money belt that would protect my cash. I wore this thing against my hot belly as I walked the Great Wall, confident it would keep my bills fresh and dry. Not so! The bills were damp and wrinkled from my sweat when I removed them from the belt! Fortunately, the bills flattened out once I put them under some books and let them dry, but I wasn't too happy and was worried that I might not be able to exchange them! The whole point of the money belt is to protect the money! How hard is it to make a polyester pouch waterproof? At any rate, I continued to use the pouch, but I put the bills in a ziploc bag first. The buckle seems a little flimsy to me, too, but it held up for the trip. Still, I wouldn't bet my life's fortune on this thing!

it works but...
It laid flat against my lower stomach which is 40 inches, not sticking out and was easy to get to. It held my money and credit cards quite well. Not a bad product. Now what needs improving is the height of it. The front pockets hold credit size cards quite well but do not hold a passport. Meaning that the passports have to go into where the money goes. Not the best arrangement (that is the reason for the low grade). I will be looking for a new one before going to Europe next year.

Excellent product
It is the right size to fit a couple of passports and plenty of cash. I wore this for 10 days while vacationing in Italy. it is made from soft fabric so it is comfortable to wear under your clothing. The "belt" is longer than I needed it to be. If i had scissors with me I would have cut it off. Great product.

Necessity for travelers
I bought two of these for a recent two-week holiday in Europe with my husband. We wore them every day to carry our passports, credit cards, and large bills. The strap is adjustable for almost any size person, and made of an elastic material. It was comfortable to wear. After the first day I did not even notice it. There is one large zippered pocket that fits a passport and currency easily, and a second zippered pocket divided into two parts that are credit card sized. I kept my suitcase key in one of those smaller pockets. The zippers open in opposite directions, so if you pay attention you can get something in or out without looking. We did not notice that the money belt became either smelly or discolored from sweat, although it probably would after long enough use. I am glad we had these for our trip.

the BEST travel money belt!
I've put off using a money belt when I travel but those pickpockets are getting so, so sneaky. This one is very comfortable with a stretch strap that you can cut to the correct length. The fabric breaths and the zippers are very smooth and won't snag on your clothing. The color is a very attractive dark beige much better than the "barbie doll" fake flesh tone of most belts. I wish I had bought this sooner. Thanks Rick Steves!
