originally incorrectly nocked/fletched, had to fix with pliers by brand recommendation
UPDATE: I heard back from the brand - they said that the reason these were nocked wrong was so that they would be compatible with compound bows as well as a recurve (makes no sense lol they nock the same way) and to try twisting the nocks harder with pliers. Reader, it took some effort and a very heavy duty set with grip, but I got them all angled correctly and they can now be shot. I now worry about the glue coming undone sooner, but, I guess we'll see!The price was also just dropped in the week since I bought them - I originally paid $47 for the set, and they're now $33. Brand said this was a 'normal price adjustment' when I asked about it. I think the updated price is pretty fair for these arrows, and despite the frustrating QC and weird excuse, they're overall a lot nicer than other Amazon arrows I've tried. Will probably get another set at the new price to have a matching 12, and hope they are nocked correctly so that they're usable out of the box. Updated to 4 stars.------The nocks on every single arrow are vertical when the striped (cock) feather is positioned to the left. They should be horizontal to nock a vertical string. Nocks are glued in, I cannot rotate them myself, I have tried many ways to undo the glue and twist. The nock orientation in the product photos is correct, so I guess this is a manufacturing error. If nocked as they are, the fletching orientation catches the bow, and flight is affected enough to matter. Really, really frustrated by this quality control issue!Otherwise, these are honestly really nice arrows. I like that the fletching has a heat-shrunk wrap at the base to prevent feather tear and separation. They feel solid, have nice points and are overall very classy and stylish. If they were nocked correctly, I'd buy two more sets for my kit and give them a five star review. It looks like plenty of other people have recieved correct products... I'm hoping for a good outcome so that I can love these arrows.

Wonderful arrows! Read this
These arrows are amazing for the price. They fly true and are truly great flying off the shelf of my 35lb reflex bow. I saw others had mention knocking points and fletching issues. Adjusting your knock is normal and can be done with a small coin. If you have trouble with your fletch separating simply boil water and hold the arrow and fletching 6 to 8 inches above the boiling pot As you run your fingers up the fletch towards your arrow knock.( this is normal Need to know setup/maintenance imho )Absolutely love it. Great Company and will definitely buy again !

Fast and true flight with a few minor caveats.
I received my box of Huntingdoor carbon arrows today and immediately went out to try them. I shoot with a 32 lb. recurve traditional bow and shoot off the shelf with instinctive sighting. Shooting off the arrow shelf requires feathered vanes because plastic vanes catch on the shelf. I set up my target at 20 yards. The first shot was a dead center bullseye--no wobble, straight and true like a guided missile. I could tell a noticeable uptick in speed from my usual Goldtip carbon shaft arrows. The next 5 arrows flew just like the first. In the end I had a tight grouping no more than 6 inches across. I was impressed! The next few rounds also gave me true flights and tight groupings. I'm quite pleased with the purchase. These arrows do come with some caveats. First, all of the target points were loose and 2 of them were rattling around in the box. Superglue your points on before using or you will lose them. Second, the cock feathers are striped for easier nocking, but they are painted only on one side. Right-handed shooters will see the striped side facing up, as it should be. Left-handers like me will see the stripe facing down. Finally, the nocks are just a bit tight. The arrows tugged a bit more than the should on release. One of them pulled off completely and was left stuck on the string. Before I use these again I will sand the nocks very lightly with an emery board. These problems are minor, though. These are quality arrows at a good price.

As advertised
Received them today. Fired a couple out of my 32 pound recurve bow. They fly fairly straight, and they were in good shape out of the box. I only shot a couple of them to test with my bow, and they seem to work fine. I will update with more use.

Wrong nock direction on EVERY arrow
Received 12 arrows and each single of them has the nock installed wrong. I am a beginner so correct me if I’m wrong but the groove along which the string goes should be perpendicular to the feather with stripes right? That’s how the other feathers forming 120 degree angle least affected by bow. Nope, here it is parallel to the feather with stripes so the feather will point upward instead of outward….And all of them are quite dirty, covered in carbon power. Beware if you are wearing white clothes! Clean them with wet cloth or paper towel first! This kind of extra effort of cleaning them is not a big deal really, but just annoying. I expect a ready to shoot arrow, now i need to spend half an hour to clean them and adjust all the nocks. Next time I’ll just buy shafts and cutter to make my own.
