Canon 2975B001 Cl-211Xl High-Yield Ink Cartridge Tri-color

The ink that is specific for this printer always works well. Using the XL black, I wish it lasted longer than a year bc I don't print that often but it's a quality printer and good cartridge.

The black cartridges I've always been able to buy locally were the high yield or XL versions (in an economical 3 pack, 2 black, one color), however the color were always the standard yield, needing to be replaced way too often compared to the black. This one is high yield at good price so I'm encouraged that it will last much longer.P.S. I experimented at a big warehouse store with their cartridge refill service. The price was right, and though the cartridge worked, my Canon printer did not recognize that the cartridge had been refilled and continued to show the "low ink" warning light. Just saying.

Far better than buying in the store. Office Max. Depot and Sam's all sell this product, but you always have to buy a package with 2 cartridges of black and one of color. It's the color I always need, so this is definitely the way to go. Works like a charm every time.

I always use genuine new ink cartridges on my old faithful Canon printer. This is a quick easy way to get them.

Since my wife and daughter go to school there are a lot of things that need printing. I have to change this cartridge about twice a year so small price as far as I am concerned. We get a lot of print jobs out of it. Being that I don't have a lot of experience with other printers to determine wether this is a good enough or great product I could only give it four stars. Should anything change this I will update this review.

It is Cannon ink, and I have never used any re-manufactured cartridges so nothing with which to compare. Given that, the price on Amazon has always been $3 to $5 less than the price at our local stores, and I don't have to drive "to town" to get a new cartridge when I need it. I do not do a lot of printing, so the Cannon XL suits my needs quite well.

If there is a brand name of a product I use, I always buy the brand - no generics for me.

I do an enormous amount of copying in black and white and color. Color truly lasts and is vivid and accurate which is most important. No refills for me!
