A great price takes some of the sting out of this job.
These cam shaft position sensors are a real pain in the butt. They're little things, but Nissan, in their infinite wisdom, has located them on the back side of the engine block, between the engine and the firewall. They're not difficult to swap out, once you can find them, blind, get a spanner on the 10mm bolt that holds them in, and remove it. then, of course, you have to reach back to find the bloody mounting hole blind, too. While this sensor is a ROYAL pain in the ass to replace, the product is a solid unit, and once installed, has performed flawlessly. The price was extremely reasonable, compared to other suppliers, and I would not hesitate to recommend both part and seller to the home mechanic with sufficient ambition to tackle the job. Even with the cussing, it was much more pleasant than paying someone else to do the job for me. It really saved my bacon.

Will not work on 2010 Nissan Frontier as advertised
Bought this set to replace the camshaft position sensor bank one indicated by my code reader. Bank 2 wasnt showing a fault code but I went ahead and replaced it while I was at it since these came as a set. After replacing both sensors the truck started and ran for a very drive and then began stalling out again. Used my code reader and it now indicated both bank one and bank two camshaft position sensors were faulty. I called my local Nissan dealer and was told by one of their techs not to use these or any other aftermarket sensors because only the Nissan OEM sensors would work. I was thinking he was wrong and that there must be some other issue causing the fault codes, but I went ahead and bought both OEM sensors from Nissan. I went ahead and changed both of these cheaper sensors with the ones from Nissan. To my surprise the truck has ran fine since changing to the OEM Nissan sensors. The OEM Nissan sensors actually cost me just over 200 dollars for the set, but they sure seem to have solved my problem where these cheaper ones did not. I guess it is true in this case you get what you pay for.

Seems to have worked
Installed the one on the driver side. Not real easy, but got the job done, very tight to get at. Truck (2009 Nissan Frontier- 4.0) was stalling out. After installation it idles well and I have driven it a few miles and so far it appears to be running fine and the dashboard light is still out(I reset it). Will have to go for a longer drive before I am sure it was the problem, but looking good so far.

Defective! Do not buy!!
These are defective and simply don’t work. I bought them and replaced my current camshaft sensors and now my car won’t start. Do not buy these cheap items. Also they were only return eligible for 30 days, and by the time I got around to installing them, now I can’t return them at all. Waste of money.
