Giles & Posner Sorbet Mini Snack Maker, 550W, Blue

Like other Giles & Posner gadgets this is FANTASTIC if you are cooking for one! I have Coeliac disease as well, and its very useful. This makes brilliant little pancakes and no they dont take 10 mins to cook (?) It is also perfect for something like a single egg for breakfast which cooks in under 2 mins. You only need to wipe the plates with a little oil to clean. I use the Giles & Posner single mini pie maker to make a "scone" or roll, or biscuit, using 45g SR flour, 45ml milk, 7ml oil. This ended many years searching for a way to have hot fresh "bread" for lunch that was easy and quick. It makes a fairly chunky scone. (The pancakes were light and delicious. )

I was in two minds about ordering this product and went for the bigger machine by the same company. Sadly it arrived with scratching on the non stick so returned and sent for this. It had mixed reviews but I love a kitchen gadget and love cooking too. My pancakes in a pan are always a bit dodgy and wanted perfect round unbroken pancakes . I make banana and egg pancakes for a healthy alternative and this did not disappoint. I started small( the one on the right pic ) but eventually got brave and did a massive one, it didn’t spill over abs I used baking powder too. Very pleased . Yes you have to be patient and if you are feeding the 5000 then I suggest you make in advance and refrigerate or buy a bigger machine . I have made 6 pancakes in 25 minutes and will make more to freeze . For 14.99 I am over the moon . Have a thick batter and don’t poke too soon

I liked this buts it’s very slow at making one pancake its so much faster to make pancakes on the cooker

Not used yet but the box is very nice and the product is very nice too

If you want a couple of pancakes for breakfast ..you best start using this at midnight and go back to bed for it to cook and forget about the 2nd one. Slow isn't doesn't go to describe this ..

I did pancakes in it - yes they take longer than in a pan but you don’t have to turn them over or really keep much of an eye on them, I did frittatas (small omelettes ) they were really quick and again you don’t have to turn them over and a fried egg - slower than in a pan but a lot less mess - this is great - good for doing one at a time so ideal for a single person or just buy one per person - wipes clean, no mess - I don’t know why I haven’t had one before!

Easy to use, but doesn't work well. Takes forever to make it cool, and the power isnt enough.
