* Easy to use with automatic start/stop function and reverse function to clear paper jams. (Yes, but doesn't always clear paper Jams.)* Features extendable arm which makes it a perfect fit over most wastebaskets. (Not mine, needed a much smaller basket, than the stand alone shredder I had for almost 20 years.)* Portable, versatile, space saving, save: features overheat protection. (I can't speak on that because of paper jams, unable to run unit long enough to access that.) Question? Just because something is in-expensive does it have to mean operating below advertised standards all the time? $14.99 for the item plus and additional $7.68 for shipping and handling... although a bargain basement price to you, still a price nonetheless to me! The cost was conducive to my pocketbook and in my opinion, one should take pride in what they are selling, instead of allowing the production of a sub-standard product incapable of completely meeting the needs it was advertised to do. How long was it tested before distribution; when the ratio of shredding jams clearly outweigh the overall success rate of this products ability to shred a document, let alone 6 pages successfully? I'm very disappointed in my meager purchase. Just because I'm not middle or upper class does not mean I don't work hard for my little bit of money too!Sincerely :-(

Great for creating origami bouquets of dispair and regret.
This was quite possibly the most useless product I've ever had the misfortune of ordering. The Zoomyo MA 501-1 strip cut paper shredder does not shred paper as the name suggests. Rather, it sucks down one corner of your perfectly parallel single sheet of paper, and then proceeds to fold the rest of it into an impressive bouquet of origami until that damned thing jams. It has an auto-feed function that cannot be overridden, which means the only thing you can do once it inevitably jams, is cut off the shredded ends with scissors, and attempt to use the reverse button to pick out the confetti-ed bits of origami from the other end. At this point, holding the scissors, you may contemplate why you didn't just use those instead of wasting time and money on this stupid contraption. If you would like to waste endless hours shredding half of one piece of paper and then reversing it so that you can unjam the machine and shred the other half, you have found your miracle product. This shredder, while it will never efficiently or effectively shred a piece of paper, will effectively shred your hopes and dreams of neatly disposed of documents. Anyone wishing to dispose of documents with this machine is better off constructing a homemade scissor out of two plastic butter knives held together with a rubber band.Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars on a quality product. This contraption is a humiliation of engineering.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Bought this to replace a similar unit (by another manufacturer) that was equally inexpensive and ran for several years before becoming hopelessly gummed up. Did not have the same luck with this waste-of-money. Became jammed on the second use after trying to feed single sheets of letter sized paper. Cleared it with a tooth pick, but it immediately jammed again. My guess is that the shredder wheels or drive mechanism is so poorly made that one of them becomes misaligned within a few uses. The major blockage occurred both time right at the center of the feed shoot, which leads me to believe that the axles driving the shredder wheels bow within a few uses.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

PAPER KEEPS GETTING STUCK
I guess you get what you pay so I blame myself. Unfortunately for me the return window has closed, I WOULD HAVE RETURNED IT ( I completely forgot because the product was so bad, I used it once and spent the next 30mins cleaning the paper stuck in it and have never used it again...) My advise, please spend a little more and buy something better.

Exactly What I Paid For
This paper shredder fits perfectly over my standard wastebasket and also slides out to accommodate wider ones. I am very pleased with the product that I received, and would recommend it for people who appreciate a thrifty product. I do have to mention that fine papers get stuck between the teeth after shredding 30 or more papers, but it still functions properly. I just send another single sheet through to clear the debris and it's right as rain!

You get what you pay for
I mean it shreds which is what it's supposed to do. Here's the thing people YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I didn't get this with the anticipation it was going to function like a 70$+ shredder. It serves its purpose. It gets stuck all the time, but I just reach my hand under and pull the paper either down or pull the paper out of the top. It's not GREAT. Its just simply OK. It serves its purpose when it works.

Great
The paper shredder works great. Why it got four stars instead of five. The one end does not come out to fit the waste basket, I had my other shredder on. I wish both sides came out to make it fit. Had to go buy another waste basket. So got the one that shows in the pictures.
