Poetic Revolution Moto G5 Plus Rugged Case with Hybrid Heavy Duty Protection and Built-in Screen Protector for Motorola Moto G5 Plus (2017) Blue/Gray

The Revolution is truly head and shoulders better than any phone case I have ever had. I am an engineer and a person who had collected fine things for 40 years this is one of them! It is exactly what I was looking for. My primary concerns are grip and drop protection. This case does both very well. Two added bonuses are the great screen protector and the two piece case that locks the phone in so it could never accidentally come out. I will continue to highly recommend it!

I have tried several cases for this phone, and this is the one to purchase. This is the best fitting, truly rugged case that you are going to find for the Moto G5 Plus. The majority of the case is a rigid plastic, and the edges and corners are a medium rubber. It has proven to provide a considerable amount of protection for my phone while I am on the job. The proof of this is the nicks, scratches, dings, and dents that are in the case instead of my phone. The only thing that I do not like about it, is the screen protector, but I am not going to dock a star for that, because I do not like any built in screen protectors. Here is what I done. I purchased a glass screen protector, installed it on the phone and cut out the built in protector from the Poetic case. It worked like a charm. Super nice, rugged case meets responsive and scratch resistant glass screen protector.

I definitely recommend this for purchase. Pros: Assembles easily. Textured, frictional surface resists slipping in your hand. Good flexible covers over the ports on the bottom of the phone. Built-in screen protector is clear and seems to work well, even with a plastic stick-on cover on the phone already. Being a 2-piece design, notice the front is protected all around and at the top and bottom with more plastic than typical one-piece designs which must slip over the phone entirely from the back. I've always been against two-piece designs but I now appreciate the added function. Buttons press easily. Cons: Finger doesn't seem to slide over the screen protector plastic as easily as glass or a stick-on protector. Minor point. Seems a high on price / value , although I'm satisfied given the well thought out design. Despite the appearance there is only two pieces, the front with integral screen protector, and the back which is all one piece. They sandwich together around the phone.

I purchased this in early April, and just received it today. I had been using a Cimo slim case until I received this in order to protect the camera, as it juts out quite a bit.Pros-Grippy, much more so than the Cimo, which was actually quite slippery on the back.Full protection, including on the face of the phoneQuite beefyScreen protector appears to be easily removableCons-The built in screen protector is quite the pet hair magnet.Bubbles are prone to developing under the screen protector, resulting in an oil rainbow like effect over your screen. Seems to come and go. (You can somewhat see this effect in the picture I included)

I have now used two of these Poetic Revolution cases. One on a moto g4+ and now a moto g4+.I can't say enough good things about this case. It fits well, looks good, and protects well. It has a built in screen protector. I can NEVER get a screen protector on without dust under it. This eliminates doing that. It also offers some protection from water. I dropped the g4+ in a tub and no water got under the case.Covers the port's but they are easily accessible. The fingerprint sensor is still fully functional. It's priced right. It's the perfect case in my opinion.I'm an active person. My phones take a beating and this case keeps it in good shape.

This case fits my phone well. The controls all work great. The only thing I didn't like was the plastic screen protector portion. Because it is not adhered to the glass, but instead of the front of the case, it was constantly allowing dirt and moisture underneath because the screen protector and the glass. It affected the function of my phone, including difficulty in selecting/using apps, and occasionally caused apps to start or stop randomly. I had to take apart the case and clean my screen too many times.Once I took a knife and removed the plastic screen protector, I was able to replace that with a traditional adhere-to-the-screen protector, the case now works much better. I've had no problems with dirt or moisture. I've dropped my phone more than once and the case protects it well. I can put my phone in purse, backpack, or pocket without worrying about breakage or butt dialing. For future improvements, I would recommend ditching the attached plastic screen protector.

This is the case I shoulda bought first. After 3 so-so cases this one fit the bill to a T. Ruggedly built and even stylish somewhat. Just make sure your phone screen is PERFECTLY clean as well as the screen protector before you put it on. And push down and evenly wipe it down hard before putting the screen protector with the phone inside it to the case .Bubbles appear every so often but disappear fast. Maybe humidity has something to do with that. Now I can put my phone in my backpack confidently knowing it will not get damaged or scratched. VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!!

I don't write reviews as a general rule but think that my experience may be useful. The case itself fits the phone well and all the cut outs and buttons line up correctly. The problem that I had with this item is the built in screen protector, the plastic scratches and marks easily, but most annoying of all is it's optical characteristics. On a bright sunny day the screen is totally black and unreadable through the protector as it just sits on top of the phone glass and reflects back a lot of the sunlight. I'm keeping the case though, I'm hoping to remove the protector and use an adhesive version instead

Feels like a nicely made quality case, and offers pretty good protection for my phone and the camera lens. However there is a problem with the port flaps. 1. The USB flap does not stay closed, it keeps popping open which is annoying and means the port isn't sealed. 2. Both the headphone and USB cutouts in the case are too small, so using a variety of USB charging leads and headphone plugs I find just over half (the bigger ones) won't plug in as the side of the plug fouls on the case, very annoying. I contacted Poetic who to their credit gave me a refund, but I asked about any updated cases because other than that they are excellent, they haven't replied.

Solid case and protects your phone, probably the best phone protection you can get. It does make your phone bulky and dirt does get under the screen protector, not really a huge issue, you just need to clean it now and then.I have stopped using it though as the screen protector stops you from seeing the smooth screen and picture quality of the phone and creates reflection .No issues with delivery

My son uses a hand-me-down phone with a badly cracked screen that is on the verge of separating from the phone. The screen still works fine and is bright. Bought this cover to keep the phone together and stop glass splinters coming away. It's doing that job well. Naturally the plastic screen marks quite easily.

Best phone case I've ever used. Just replaced my old one after 4 years, only due to the screen being super scratched. Dropped my phone numerous times and only cracked the case
