HUBSAN H502S X4 FPV RC Quadcopter Drone with HD Camera GPS

I love this drone! It is very easy to fly, and highly responsive. I flew it in calm and in winds of up to 15 mph- the 502S totally handled it - The 'Follow-me' feature was perfect. It drifted only a few feet from take-off point on "Return Home" feature- every time! The camera was much better than I expected it to be- I took some outstanding videos with it. I had absolutely No problem with the instruction book, watched the Hubsan video and a few other informative reviews on Youtube and took right off- Lovely experience. I highly recommend it.As for the possible negatives- i would really like to have a few more minutes of flight time...ie a larger battery But, I also understand the reasoning of keeping it light weight. An 850 might give up to 13 or 14 minutes flight time, which would be nice. As it is, though, 10 minutes is not horrible- but, by the time you get oriented, check out a few angles for video, etc, you are in a hurry to get the shot and hit "return home" switch. I really can not think of any other negatives on it.If you are looking for an entry level GPS drone, this is it.

Despite the bad reviews, I bought it. This drone is great for experienced flyers, the controls are a little sensitive and it is not a laid back experience. But Return To Home + FPV is a game changer! This is replacing my blade 350qx (the original one) that cost me $500 a few years ago. Wow drones have gotten better! I can fly this from my nearest park to my front yard (about 1/4mi) and back with no problems! The camera feed is a little VHS-like at times but that is to be expected with FPV. The FPV is very responsive and has very low latency! The video recording is good too, very low “jello” but a lot of shake. This drone is a great FPV GPS drone that can fly so high I have to keep a note of the 500ft (152m) limit so I don’t violate the law! Flight time is good at ~13 mins and charge time is a little long at ~2 hrs. Overall a great drone for experienced flyers!

Purchased this drone principle for my boys to learn flight controls and take aerial photos and or video. The drones console video panel never worked. No matter how many re-bindings, following manuals console settings, or frequency mhz settings. I requested a credit return but was subsequently reviewed. The support is out of China and via email correspondence only. One email instruction was to find a local shop to fix it. Another email instruction was to send them the picture of the 7.4v battery on a voltmeter reading. If you like products that don't work as expected with difficult support help then this is your drone.As side note: The drones physical flight dynamics work flawlessly and gracefully including return to home and follow me functions.

I have been flying model aircraft for 33 years. The quad is well made and flys well. In GPS mode it holds position well. Had a couple of issues with it coming out of headless mode on its own when letting my son fly it his first couple flights. We really don’t use that mode but it’s a neat option. It has a memory card slot on the controller and one in the quad, only the one in the quad works, the one in the controller does not record anything and that was a let down. Video quality is good, the frame rate is a little slow. FPV video on the controller has a delay so you need to be careful if you are depending on it to help you out. The controller eats batteries, but it does come with a rechargeable for the controller. IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED PILOT AND ARE FLYING IN ADVANCED MODE DO NOT JUST KILL THE ENGINES TO LOOSE SOME ALTITUDE THEY WILL NOT RESTART WITHOUT REARMING AND YOUR QUAD WILL FALL TO ITS POTENTIAL DEATH. (Term: Emergency Crash Landing or trash can mode?) They should really fix that! (Firmware on the aircraft and controller is upgradable) To be fare there was something in the manual about emergency landing and I didn’t test that out on the ground. I just took it for granted that most pilots like to slow their descent after a dive so they don’t hit the ground, so the motors should have worked when I tossed the throttle back up. If I was in such a panic and I needed to sacrifice the aircraft and let it fall to its death I would do the disarming procedure the same as after I land normally. Fortunately mine had some nice soft rocks to land on next to the waters edge to brake its fall and by a miracle it survived. Advanced mode is not full manual, it’s like no gps hold and more throttle control. It’s a good beginner aircraft, after testing mine out I purchased one for a relative for his birthday so he could learn to fly before putting a lot of money into a more expensive aircraft. The display is in metric, it would be nice to be able to switch. In return to home mode if you are close to the ground it will rise up about 15 feet before coming back. You have to do the compass calibration EVERY time you put in a new battery pack. It does not like to drop altitude quickly while in fast forward flight, I can’t tell if that is a programming issue or if that is caused by what is called in the helicopter world as a retreating blade stall due to the slow speed of the rotor blades. Blades are gear driven so be gentile with it. I would definitely buy another one and I may do that to replace mine, I don’t have a lot of confidence in it since its impact on the rocks but it does still fly well. For the money it really is a great aircraft and even with its little issues it sets the bar high for anything close to its price point. It would make a great gift for anyone looking to start flying quadcopters.

I didn't expect a company like this to sell a product that's $105 and not work properly. I followed every instruction down to the T. And it still would not start up at all. For someone who is a first time drone buyer this is a shame for myself and possibly the worst product I've ever bought.Update: I don't know what I did, but somehow or some way I got the rotors to start up. Maybe I was in the wrong area or I just didn't have a clear sight of line. I will try this again later on to see if I can replicate it. I'll give it three stars for right now just because I have to keep recalibrating the compass.Update 10/28/18:Besides having to wait for a GPS signal, this drone is fun as heck to fly around. Especially, when you can check the built in screen that is equipped with the controller. Now, the lousy part is a 3 step process involving calibrating the compass and getting a GPS signal.I would give this drone more stars, but it's just mainly those two last things that hold it back.

Parto dal presupposto che non sono un professionista, volevo un drone che da principiante, mi poteva aiutare a limitare il rischio di perderlo, e che poteva rimanere stabile in volo senza troppe difficoltà. Sono finito su questo drone per caso, dopo averne visti tanti (alcuni anche provati) ho cominciato a valutare se poteva fare al caso mio. Ragazzi mai avuta un'esperienza così divertente, dato il periodo e l'impossibilità di testarlo in uno spazio adeguato mi sono dovuto arrangiate nel mio giardino e mi sono divertito un sacco. GPS ottimo, il ritorno a casa molto preciso (sballa solo di 30/60 cm rispetto al punto di partenza), l'unice cose che mi sono un po' dispiaciute sono: la batteria che dura circa 10 minuti, e il video che quando c'è molta distanza avvolte salta, ma credo sia dovuto molto anche da semplici interverense. Per il prezzo e più che ottimo la qualità dei video e molto buona supporta SD fino a 32GB. Io l'ho comprato da ROSA DRONE che mi ha dato supporto in tutto, molto gentili e professionali.

Très bon drone . Je l'ai acheté pour me faire la main et apprendre à piloter avt de passer à un autre plus important . Il a un très bon GPS il est très stable très bon retour vidéo et il réponds très bien . Le retour à la.maison fonctionne très bien à 1 mètres près. ...le follow me est très cool et fonctionne bien . Pour commencer c un très bon pt drone . Par contre la vidéo et en 720 p se n'est pas le top mais ça va et les photos sont pas trop mal . C vraiment un très bon pt drone pour apprendre les base du pilotage. Je le recommande .

Wir haben die Drohne jetzt bereits seit fünf Monaten im Einsatz. Ausschlaggebend für uns als Drohnenanfänger war vor allen Dingen die Ich reichhaltige technische Ausstattung. Speziell das GPS und die Return Home Funktion, die punktgenau funktioniert, haben wir sehr zu schätzen gelernt. Selbst bei stärkerem Wind verhält die kleine Drohne sich stabil und bleibt steuerbar. Die Kamera liefert gute Bilder wenn sie auf der SD Karte direkt gespeichert werden. Bei größeren Abständen von der Drohne zum Sender kam es bei uns zu Bildstörungen auf dem Senderdisplay, was uns aber nicht sehr stört, da wir die Filme beziehungsweise Bilder ja auf der SD Karte in der Drohne speichern und.dann zu Hause am PC anschauen. Empfehlenswert ist, sich gleich noch zwei Ersatzakkus dazu zu kaufen, das verlängert den Flugspaß doch erheblich. Außerdem sollte man sich genau an die Anweisungen zur Lagerung zum Laden und Entladen der Akkus halten.Weil wir bis dahin keine Erfahrung mit Lithium Ionen Akkus hatten kostete uns diese Unkenntnis gleich den ersten Akku.D.h. Nie tiefentladen, wenn am Sender die Anzeige der Akkuspannung auf rot wechselt, sofort beenden. Vor Minusgraden schützen etc.Alles in Allem ein super Preis Leistungsverhältnis, für diese Qualität.

Es mi primer drone y lo estamos disfrutando mucho. La batería del drone dura unos 10-12 minutos. Las del mando me están durando para dos veces de drone, pero ya había leido comentarios de que consumía bastante y le pongo regargables (2100). La imagen en el mando se ve nítida.El dron es duro, o más duro de lo que me imaginaba, ya que lleva muchas caídas en vertical y choques contra paredes y no se han roto ni las aspas ni nada....Las instrucciones no vienen en castellano, pero el vendedor me las ha enviado sin solicitárselas por correo electrónico en castellano y con buena edición, lo que es de agradecer.Muy satisfechos con la compra.

Muy bien me llego perfecto en su caja lo unico cargen la bateria al maximo antes de su uso yo lo probe cno la carga que venia y haora no carga se vacio y no se carga . por lo demas muy bien
