Della Freestanding Water Dispenser with Built-In Ice Maker Machine 26lbs per day, 2-Size Cube, White

This ice maker is a replacement for a smaller unit that made ice only. This unit providing cold water and ice is a hit with my wife. The unit is slightly louder than the ice only unit but not critical. Very pleased with quantity.

While I loved the Della Ice Maker at first, I am totally hating customer service. The ice maker stopped making ice 8 months after my purchase. I have been trying to get service/warranty information since then, to no avail. First, I contacted Della online, who sends you to OneBigOutlet, who sends you to the manufacturer (Della) who sends you back to amazon, who sends you back to OneBigOutlet. I am disappointed that the machine stopped working less than a year, however, believing that I had a year warranty was extremely excited to think that I might be able to get another. This is a sad run-around with all parties and I am very distraught with all of them. NOT one representative wants to help only to send you to another etc...which became the never ending circle. Because Della is pushing me off to Amazon. I will not purchase or recommend Della products to anyone. Amazon is not standing behind this purchase so I will close my Amazon Prime account....definitely will save me money in the long run....and I don't even have a clue who OneBigOutlet is other than they also are no help. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. I tried to do 0 stars but this system is much nicer than I am.

Ice is good, water is gross and it is hard to clean.

Likes: I like the ice maker. It makes ice pretty fast. No need for filtered or distilled water. Tap water seems to be fine. It delivers ice to the glass until you push the ice button the second time. Easy to add water. Window to see how much ice there is and see if the eye is blocked. Dislikes: ice builds up in the way of the electric eye and I need to push the ice to the left to clear it from the eye. Only fills a 12 oz glass then you need to wait an hour for another full glass of ice; but to be fair; less than a half glass is enough.

I love this ice maker/dispenser I have a family of 8 and it works fine for us!

The machine was fine for a month. Then it broke down. No one from the company will ever call you back. You can't repair it, the extended plan for this machine is a rip off. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MACHINE SOOOOO NOT WORTH THE TIME AND TROUBLE OF TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF A PERSON AT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE
