These provide a tight curl that holds a long time. Excellent roller for stubborn hard to curl hair. I dried my hair, put them in and then ran the blow dryer across them on low fam/high heat. Let them cool completely and viola, curled hair for days! Not at all like the regular Velcro rollers. They conduct heat nicely.

I should’ve actually measured out the dimensions, but these are small. I returned because it wasn’t worth the money. Maybe they’re a very good quality, but it would curl maybe 1% of my hair.

I have used electric rollers for many years as I am hopeless with a curling iron. I was looking for a new set when I came across these thermal velcro rollers. Since I am a woman of a certain age I well remember setting my wet hair on velcro rollers every night; therefore I was very pleased to find some rollers that retained heat and could be used on dried hair. I simply blow-dry my hair, section it, spray with hairspray, roll it up on these rollers, then gently (on a low setting) circulate the dryer around my head, briefly pausing at each roller. It only takes about a minute. I then leave the rollers in for another 20 minutes or so while I apply my makeup. When I remove the rollers the curls are “set” and the comb-out results in height and body, which my thin hair needs. My hair is cut in a pixie style by the way. I appreciate being able to easily tote these rollers when I travel, which was a problem with my electric roller set.

I have straight, fine and thinning hair. These rollers stay in my fine, thin hair and give my hair extra volume. I dry my hair most of the way before I put them in. I bought a couple different sizes and they all work well for me. I have just below my shoulder length hair.

Not at all what I was expecting.I don't know where the ceramic is but it is not on the roller. They roll up nicely but I have to pull my hair to unwind them. That takes much of the curl out. They are no better than the ones I want to replace. And why are they so pricey?
