CONTOUR NEXT EZ Blood Glucose Monitoring System

I use a Contour Next glucometer because years ago I read a review in Consumer Reports, saying this and one other glucometer were the only and the most reliable models (at that time). And the test strips for the other one cost a lot more per test. I tried a few other meters before this, and they were always all over the place. Test twice in a row and get wildly different results. Test twice using two different meters, and get wildly differing results. This made those other meters utterly useless to me because I didn't trust them at all. This problem does not happen with the Contour Next. I've been very happy with my Contour Next EZ, and find it to be very accurate. I've replaced it once in a while over the years for various reasons, and was pleased to discover that this time it included some testing supplies along with the meter, which I did not anticipate.

The seller should have made it plenty clear that this item is only for the device, paper manual, and a flimsy pouch only. Yet I am not disappointed in the least. That is because this device by itself is definately worth much more than the price. I had two different previous monitors, priced more than twice this one each, not anywhere as accurate as this one, exactly as my research predicted which make this purchase a bargain. The testing results are very close to lab results! If you decide to buy this fantastic device, remember to buy the same brand test strips with it (and any lancet device if you don't have one already).

This monitor is easy to use, and everything you need is included. The display is large and easy to read without reading glasses. The functionality is amazing, and the machine is easy to program if you want to read the blood sugar level and chart it for your records.

It works and the deal is amazing but this device makes you waste a lot of strips. Theres error codes and there's a time limit once you insert the strip. One time I wasted 8 strips because it kept showing "E2" or timing out. But otherwise it works. I just needed it to check for gestational diabetes so it was good for temporary use, it comes with 10 strips.

I trust this meter more than any other, my wife and I have tried many other meters, Contour next is very close to lab results. I have compared it to other meters witch had higher readings, I have no complaints on Contour next meter. #1

the product is ok it took 10 days to get the product from the distributor to my home. Wont use Amazon for medicine or medical products. I couldn't wait 10 days for medicines.

This is the only brand we use. Never had any issues or complaints. Good quality and durable. Appears accurate when compared with other glucose measuring devices.

My chosen go to brand. I've been been using this for many years and am very happy with the results. Whether my sugar is good or bad, at least I know it's accurate. Would definitely recommend and plan to continue to use for many years to come.
