first remote broke in my pocket. second remote broke when i set a can of coke on it in my cupholder. other than the remotes this thing is great! no issues as long as your battery is charged. i have it on a removable receiver hitch so i can throw it on my trailer or go save a buddy from the trails with just my truck.

Luckily my steel bumper I was attaching this to had pre-drilled holes so putting this in was easy. The wiring was easy and the instructions were great. The only problem I had is there wasn’t enough clearance for the control box. I modified it a little and it mounted on a bracket that came with the bumper. Would highly recommend!

THE WENCH is solid and works great. I just wished the cover would have came with it. that is the only reason I bought this one cause it was supposed to have everything. I even had a second one shipped to me, but no cover for it too.. ah well I guess I will have to go buy one that hopefully will fit it.

I received my winch well package, upon opening it I was surprised to see the exact product as they depicted, bench tested it and man does it have power!! Can’t wait to finish installing it on my car hauler, GREAT PRODUCT! And the price is perfect!

This is the second 13,500 lb Rock-Hulk I have purchased for my Jeeps in the past 6ish months.. I was very disappointed in the quality of the documentation that was included with the winch. No actual installation instructions ( only a single wiring drawing with a illustrated picture of a winch. Nothing on mounting or it's actual operation. Booklet focused more on using a winch. No actual photos of the product.I worked through the first unit on my own. At the end of the day this one functioned fine including both wireless remotes and the cabled unit.I debated hard whether to re-purchase this unit but since I had worked through the first I figured I stick with this Rock-Hulk product versus less expensive Badlands and Rugcel.After completing and moving into testing the new Winch the cabled remote worked properly but neither of the two wireless remotes functioned at all. I opened their covers to confirm they had batteries ( both did ) and tested each of the two batteries voltage with a Fluke 789 both were producing 12.65 / 12.66 VDC so remotes internal power supply was correct range and available to power the remotes. These particular Remotes only had extend and retract buttons - my previous unit has a button to turn on the Remote and when it's button is depressed a visible LED is present indicating the remote is "on-line". The new remotes had a gray rubber hole fiiller on the face of the remote that covers an LED that is located on the remotes interior. Pressing or blocking this rubber component had no effect on allowing the Remote to operate.I removed to Control Box Cover to make sure all of it's wiring was terminated and intact.Don't know if its the Remotes or it's sealed module inside the Control box - but either way the Remotes on this unit without the button and it's LED ( two rubber components ) are JUNK - since you can't tell if they are active without the LED.I can't recommend this winch and suggest using one of the other units such as Badlands, X-Bull or Rugcel

The way it’s pictured it looks like this is one solid unit, including the feed shield on the front of the unit. However, that feed shield is actually not connected to the winch. It was also described to have a cover, but it does not have a cover.
