BUILT LIKE A TIGER 2 TANK!!!
I needed a huge, heavy stapler that can handle stapling a booklet with OVER 150 pages thick BEFORE I even fold over the pages to then complete making the "booklet" (yea... it's more like a really big "soft cover" book - not a little "booklet". I have purchased a heavy-duty 17" Guillotine Paper Cutter last year, the kind where I can actually "cut down" books that are TABLOID size - NOT just letter or legal size paper and do so with many hundred sheets (up to 400 sheets!), then be able to trim down these "booklets" where all sizes are then CLEANLY trimmed up to make them all look "PROFESSIONAL". Yea, these books I'm making are just for myself and a few friends but that dose not mean they DON'T have to look nice still! BUT - What is the LAST missing piece I needed was a means to keep the books I make stay together no matter HOW BIG these books become. "THAT" - is where this Stapler comes in! Now using it for the first time I have come to appreciate just how well built this Stapler is! It is VERY heavy for what it is being asked to do for me - AND - no part was left out of their design! The stapler has a well built "stopper" so that when setting up the book it will NOT move even tho I am shoving against the "back-stop" all these pages, not ONCE did that back-stop move in the SLIGHTEST!!! That for me was the FIRST "check mark" accomplished. Secondly, even tho this stapler is ONLY marked for the METRIC system it STILL sets up EXACTLY where it needs to be to put a staple RIGHT AT THAT 8 1/2" edge - just PERFECT! That was check mark TWO! And finally, when I go to put that STAPLE at the place the force needed to lay down 15mm Staple was just right, not too flimsy, not so hard that a 70 y.o. Grandma would not be able to push down the lever onto that set of many pages thereby RUINING all the other work needed (printing up the pages/getting the pages together and all exactly next to each other without having a few pages still out of place etc.) only to find out that the darn stapler just could not get the staple in correctly or deep enough - WITH THIS STAPLER, YOU WILL NOT END UP IN THAT DARK PLACE!!! You will get a correctly laid staple, in the correct spot - EACH AND EVERY TIME without fuss or muss! THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR, RIGHT???!!! EVERY CHECK MARK I NEEDED WAS MET!!!I will note for you all one important thing tho - THIS STAPLER DOES NOT COME WITH ANY STAPLES!!! YOU WILL HAVE TO ORDER THEM FROM ANOTHER VENDOR - SO DON'T FORGET THAT PART WHEN YOU ARE BUYING THIS STAPLER!!! On this I will also say DO NOT GO WITH THE CHEAPEST "NO-NAME" PRICED STAPLES!!! This Stapler ONLY uses one kind of STAPLE - It uses the 23/xx size (the "xx" is the depth of the staple going into to the paper, say 10mm for around 50 to 70 sheets). You can get different sizes of the LENGTH but NOT the WIDTH!!! DO NOT buy staples that are used buy the "normal" kind of office stapler - this kind of stapler is made for when you are putting dozen's if not HUNDREDS of PAGES, not 3 or 5 sheets of paper!!! The Vendor of this Stapler does not say whom to buy your staples from but I can tell you from experience I will name TWO that I DO trust: KANGARO and RAYSON. I have made today 10 separate already (the stapler arrived today btw) with TWO different size books. One that had 115 pages (every booklet also had a heavy card-stock 80 lb. cover page) and one booklet using 71 pages - BOTH BOOKLETS were made using TABLOID SIZE paper which means I needed to place that staple right at the 8.5" spot as each booklet was 11" tall. I used two sizes of staples: 10mm & 15mm. EVERY STAPLE WAS THE CORRECT LENGTH NEEDED TO SET THE BOOKLET IN TIGHT & SECURE that will be usable for MANY YEARS TO COME with MUCH wear and tear along the way but I can tell you that the ONE THING I'LL NEVER WORRY ABOUT ARE THOSE STAPLES getting loose on me!!!You can be confident that even tho this stapler is NOT CHEAP (I paid $120 U.S. for it) IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU'LL PAY FOR YOURS!!! It NEVER JAMMED ON ME ONCE (just DON'T buy junk staples!) AND IT LAID DOWN EACH STAPLE LOOKING "EXACTLY" LIKE THE ONE BEFORE IT!!! Over the years I expect to make several HUNDRED of these kinds of booklets, I also expect to use 5 staples per book each time so that will be THOUSANDS OF THESE STAPLES I'LL GO THROUGH... What I WON'T be worrying about is this Stapler tho - it REALLY is built like a TANK as it's mostly all METAL with only a few non-critical parts being made from plastic! I think you'll come to find I just called it as I saw it - You'll be getting a HD TANK STAPLER!!! CHEERS!!!

Lots of attempts but too many mechanical design flaws
I tried many many times to get the stapler to work consistently. I tried to see if I was doing something wrong, but after clearing lots of staple jams, I noticed that the staple mechanisms, guide and other things need refinement. Some aspects of the design need better quality control or tighter tolerances. There are some things missing that should be added to prevent common staple jam problems.Overall, there were many attempts to give this stapler a chance but it just wasn't happening. This is a warning to everyone not to purchase this stapler until they make changes to their design to address the very frequent staple jams.(Some context, I almost used an entire stick of 1/4" staples and 3/4 of those staples ended up getting jammed and mangled)

A Great, Heavy Duty Book Stapler
This stapler is powerful, and can staple up to about 10” in (25 cm) which would be the middle of a 20 inch piece of paper. The booklets I stapled were 21 pages. 1/4” staples would work for those (I found out). If you have big stapling jobs, this stapler is a good choice.

Nice Stapler!
So I just received this stapler last night and I am yet to test it out as I forgot to get some staples :(I will get some in a few hours. Looking at it I must say it looks amazingly sturdy. To confirm what I read on a review before I purchased it, it is indeed heavy (that shouldn't be an issue considering that when stapling booklets its best to have it heavy and sturdy to ensure precision).
