I've been using this desk for a week now, and it's the first standing desk I've ever bought. I spent a decent amount of time looking through online reviews, and chose this particular product for a number of reasons. Most of the reviews sounded sincere and were positive; I needed room for two standing LCD monitors, and I was going to be raising and lowering it enough so that the desk needed to work well. Plus, the price was just right. First off, the packaging was solid, and the setup was minimal; it pretty much worked as soon as I put it on my desk. Workmanship seems to be pretty good; I can't think of much I'd change. Raising and lowering is simple; squeeze the levers on both sides and it raises or lowers fairly smoothly. I'm not super strong, but with two monitors, it takes a little bit of effort; that effort involves making sure the desk raises and lowers smoothly enough that I don't knock one of the monitors off. I don't consider this to be a bad thing, but I mention it for someone else's benefit. There really isn't a lot of room for mouse AND keyboard on the tray (though it feels solid). I use a corded laser mouse, which needs a mousepad for it to be able to identify how it's being moved; the black surface of the desk seems to give it some difficulty. Anyhoo, keyboard plus mouse and pad are too cramped for the tray - so i put the mouse on the same surface as the monitors. This works fine for me, but for those who pay attention to ergonomics, it might be a sticking point. To be honest, this desk has been very close to what I was hoping for; I've recommended it to several people here at work. I'm giving it only 4 stars due to the issues I listed above, but I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Addition: I received a email from The House of Trade stating asking how they could make it right. I responded then never heard back. Go figure, poor customer service to go along with the poor product. I would not recommend this product. When you raise the desk to standing height the left side does not latch every time and I have actually had two times where the desk was latched and working fine then all of a sudden the left side of the desk fell causing my company laptop to slide off. Thankfully the laptop was not damaged however now I have a hard time trusting the desk. I was really excited about the product when I ordered it however that has quickly fizzled. Great concept but the engineering needs to be looked at, I wish I never would have bought this product.

I've used this daily for months now. I used to have a more expensive brand at my last office, but this one really is just as great—for a way lower price.

Works perfectly. Love the ability to stand up while working. Would recommend the keyboard drawer extend a little further. Otherwise, totally happy with product.
