Buy it!
If you are looking for a toddler carrier that is light weight, comfortable, packable, and breathable this is it! I bought for my almost 2 year old last year when we went to Yellow Stone and the Grand Tetons. It was a lifesaver and worth every penny! I added a little clip and just clipped it right on my backpack for when not in use. It’s very adjustable so it was great for both my husband and me. I would highly recommend!

Lightweight yet comfortable to use
Easy to use, surprisingly comfortable (although my baby is around 20 lbs so that might change in the future) and very adjustable! Even as an XL-size person this had plenty of strap length left.I had an older model of the boba air many years ago, and this version is comfier than I remembered the old one being.Great for tossing in the diaper bag or stroller. The hood came in handy on sunny days when I needed to keep baby’s head covered.

So portable
I hate lugging normal baby carriers around. They're bulky even when folded up, the straps dangle out and get caught on things, and they have a ton of padding that doesn't actually make them more comfortable. But somehow, my babies always want to go in the carrier as soon as we get out of the car.The Boba Air packs up in a compact little bundle, and pops out when I need it. I clip it to my purse, and it goes everywhere with me. It's comfortable, and fairly easy to adjust. It's not quite as easy to customize the size and position as some of the bulkier carriers out there that have more buckles and buttons, but for one person it works fine. The Air doesn't come as high up on the baby's head as other carriers, so I find it useful to button up one side of the hood if my baby falls asleep. It provides great coverage for nursing with the hood up.One downside is that the nylon exterior insulates the baby pretty well, so they tend to get warmer than they might in another carrier. If you only get one carrier, make it this one. Over the course of my three clingy koala babies, I've used Ergobaby, Infantino, and Lillebaby brand structured carriers, as well as woven wraps, stretch wraps, ring slings, and hip carriers (I know; I have a problem). They each have their pros and cons, and I've kept a few of them to use in specific scenarios. But none of them are as easy to bring everywhere as the Air. Its limitations are few enough that the portability and versatility trump every other carrier out there, in my eyes.

Super packable
Packability is amazing! Super lightweight, no special folding needed. Great for travel or just to keep in the car. Definitely better suits people with broader shoulders and chests, so it would make a good designated dad carrier.

Obsessed Boba Loyalist
This is the best baby carrier - well so is the original boba wrap! I graduated from the boba wrap to this Boba Air carrier when my son weight about 17lbs. I used the Boba wrap daily so I felt like nothing would match how wonderful, connected and comfortable that wrap made my baby and me! But hello Boba Air! I want to since from the mountain tops this is the only baby-wearing carrier you need once you graduate from the Boba wrap! I also have a Baby Bijorn I was gifted and couldn’t seem to get to the same place of comfort and connectedness that I have with my Boba wraps. My baby also would start crying after about 10 minutes in the Bijorn and I noticed when I forward-carried in the Bijorn his toes would start turning blue/purple from circulation issues. The Bijorn was also so thick, heavy and hot! This Boba Air is so light and packable! I walked for miles all over Vail, CO with my 18lb baby and he slept, ate and saw the sights. The head coveringis such an amazing feature especially if you forget a hat on a sunny day or it rains! It’s also nice you can use the zipper pouch to put Kleenex, your phone or a small item. Absolutely the best item I own as a momma who loves to wear my baby - I only hope I can for as long as possible because we absolutely love this carrier! Oh and it’s great for wearing on the plane too he slept the entire time in it! Get it now, it’s worth every penny!

Lightweight but HOT
We used this on the plane and for hikes in Hawaii! I love that it’s super lightweight and packable into its own little bag however I used it on the plane to get him to sleep and it was super hot like baby sweating mama sweating hot and it wasn’t super warm on the plane…it’s not as breathable as we thought! It was the only carrier we brought with us so we had to use it on our hikes and while he did okay in it you could tell he couldn’t cool off.
