Magpul Tejas Gun Belt El Original 1.25 Inch

Overall I'm happy enough with this belt. It's rigid enough to hold up to just about anything you can wear on your waist, as well as whatever EDC gear you keep in your pockets. It's also surprisingly comfortable, with minimal break-in time needed.I've been wearing this belt daily for over a year in all sorts of conditions and can report that the leather and backing of the belt has held up perfectly (see picture). Hands down the most durable belt I've owned and it looks nice enough to wear to formal events.Unfortunately the buckle leaves a lot to be desired. Within about 4 months the finish on the buckle began to crack. After 5 months it was flaking off and looked terrible (see picture). If I pay $70+ for a belt the fittings need to last longer than 4-5 months! I've had dollar store belts with buckles that held up better than this. I really hope Magpul gets it together and replaces whatever source they have for the fittings. The only upside is that the belt allows you to swap out the buckles fairly easily, so the belt wasn't a total loss. I took the buckle from another belt and have been using that.If you overlook cheap fittings, this is a good belt.

I liked it a lot... It's very stiff but loosens a bit after usage... Also it's a thick belt

This is a really nice belt! I was looking for something that was dressy enough to use at work (business casual environment) and this size and style was perfect. Supports my compact double stack and my sub single stack really well. Very happy!

I don't know the problem the other folks had with this belt but it is my favorite. I have some other bets but this belt will not stretch and i have carried my P230 on it for 2 plus years with no issues. You can wear with a suit or jeans and looks good either way. I have a black and dark brown one also. Would highly recommend

Its thick. But after a month it gets too malleable. defeats the purpose of getting a gunbelt in the first place.
