More Features for Less Money!
I decided to buy this tripod, and test it for my time lapse videos. I love all great features zomei has offered in this tripod, fluid head for smooth panning, 3 different angles leg adjustment, base plate safety lock, etc. I didn't expect these many great features in such genuine price. Especially, if you are travelling a lot, and looking for light weight tripod, this is best. Instead of carrying camera, and tripod bag, I just hung Q555 tripod with my camera bag. It made my life so easy. However, if you are doing a lot of video work, you might wana buy separate flat head, which would be real helpful for tilting, and panning. This tripod is good for panning, but for tilting not at all.

Surprisingly nice.
I bought this for astrophotography, my cheaper $40 tripod just couldn't cut it. After seeing the price of some nice professional tripods (commonly upwards of at least $150-$200), I was a little sceptical. This product did not disappoint. Currently using this for a Nikon D610 with a range of telephoto lenses. It's sturdy enough to hold my Camera nice and still. And it's not to heavy to strap you a pack and hike around with (although it is a tad bit bulky). Another nice feature, unlike my last tripod it doesn't squeek when making small pan tilt out pitch adjustments.

light but shaky at times
This is a surprisingly light tripod that is easy to travel with. Most of the parts are plastic and it is a bit tough to make fine adjustments with compared to high-end products. Especially for astrophotography where you need to make constant adjustments along multiple axes. At full extension with a large telephoto lens mounted, the vibration was significant. I hung about 10-12 lbs of counterweight on a convenient hook at the bottom of the center post but this didn't improve things that much. This is an okay product that delivers a reasonable performance/weight trade off that will be fine for less challenging photography situations.

Nice sturdy tripod that isn't perfect despite the price
Nice sturdy tripod that isn't perfect despite the price. I don't like the way the camera mount is hidden under the camera itself and if you tighten it too much or leave it on long enough, it's difficult to loosen and remove camera from mounting point. I do really like how easy it is pivot the camera on the tripod though and lock it in perfectly. Overall I was hoping for a little more "ease" with this tripod but it will work. Definitely better than some of those cheaper 40-60 dollar tripods.

Excellent Tripod, holds my Canon Mark5 with even the heaviest lens without concern of tipping. Very sturdy, great swivel and easy quick release. Makes work so much easier!

Good deal
I used this tripod for about 2 weeks on short trips around NYC and then on a week long vacation to St Martin. I was very happy with the tripod. 99% of the time it was stuffed in a backpack with plenty of other stuff. I used it in a light rain, on dirt and on sand, never had problems. Of course you have to spend a minute cleaning at least the sand of it but its all good. The ballhead is great for photography and ok for video. Panning is fine but it's hard to tilt smoothly. After all the beating the legs and the head were like new.Unfortunately for me the tripod and all my gear got stolen at the end of my vacation, so I cannot provide photos.I recommend and probably will buy this tripod again, when I can afford to restore my gear.

Makes sense for use with a good spotting scope.
I bought this product to support my 20-60X90 spotting scope which is big and heavy. It is a VAST improvement over the tripod that came with the scope. I have used two previous tripods. Both were shaky and hard to align with the target. When I would get it all set I would release the scope with my support hand and watch it droop below the target. This led to a process of trial an error of setting it somewhere above the target and hoping it drooped into the proper position. The least little bump required starting all over. If subsequently I had to change targets, the process needed to be repeated again. It seemed like I spent as much time aligning the spotting scope as I did scoping in the rifle. No more . . . this great little tripod is super steady and solid. It stays where it's locked the first time AND, as it can be rotated 360 degrees in the same plane, changing targets is a snap. If you're going to spend the money for a good spotting scope an equally good tripod only makes sense. This one makes sense! You won't regret buying it.

Had to return......
Although I truly liked this product for its stability, I had to return it because it was cracked/broken right out of the box. Legs extended smoothly, and the rotation of the ball was very smooth. Attached photos show where the crack/break is. Really wish it wasn't broken but sometimes it happens.

Quality tripod—no plastic bits on the head.
Sturdy tripod for paintbox—appears to hold the 12x9 Guerilla Box well. It appears comparable to the Dolica Pro model GX650B204.
