Good value diaper cover
I have used cloth diapers with all of my children, but had never tried Bumkins brand before. I would give them 3 1/2 stars.First the pros:1) These are inexpensive covers, yet not cheaply made. The snaps and stitching are well done. I have not had any snaps break in 5 months of using them (with a toddler and a newborn).2) The prints are fun!3) They have double leg gussets, which help with with containing breastfed baby poo. I have not had any poop blowouts while using these (on a newborn and toddler). They also have flaps on the inside of the cover which help to hold in a tri-folded prefold and prevent wicking at the waist of the cover.4) They are highly adjustable, which is good and bad (cons below) They work well for small newborns on the lowest rise setting and can go up to about a 24 lb toddler (tight at this weight). They have double rows of snaps, which ostensibly help to adjust both the waist and leg openings separately. They even have snaps on the opposite waist tab for smaller babies, if you need to pull the waist tabs over one another.5) You can use these as newborn covers. Some adjustable covers cannot really be used with newborn babies. These work pretty well for a newborn on the lowest rise setting. They are a bit bulkier than newborn specific covers, but they work. I used them on the lowest rise setting until my baby was about 6 weeks old and 10 lbs, then I had to move up to the mid-rise setting. My baby is currently using them at the mid-rise setting, and is 3 months and just over 12 lbs.6) They can be used for bigger babies and small toddlers. My toddler used these covers for a few months, and at the time was under 2 and about 23 lbs. They were on the largest rise setting, and were definitely tight. However, it is nice to have a diaper than can fit a newborn and a small toddler.Cons1) They have too many waist snaps! The number of snaps make them adjustable, but it's just too many. You have to snap 10 snaps to close the cover. You can get away with only snapping 8 of the snaps, but then the wings of the cover can droop. Because there are so many waist snaps, the diaper is bulkier than other covers, which is my main complaint. The snaps are also difficult to undo, which is probably why some reviewers have complained that the snaps are breaking. If you aren't careful, I can see how one could rip or break.2) They don't fit as well as other brands of covers that I have. Although these do fit newborn and smaller babies, I still have other covers I prefer to use over the Bumkins brand. The leg openings seem to be small and narrow, so the waist seems to be pulled down by the leg openings, even if you adjust the rise setting. And, they are bulky....as I mentioned before.3) These really can't be used from birth to potty training. I would be surprised if most average size 2 year olds can fit in them.A few other points:I use these covers with Green Mountain Diaper prefolds trifolded inside them. They did not work as well over fitted diapers and were even bulkier. Overall, I think this is a good value cover, if you want a cover you can use from newborn to about 18 months (or around 22-24 lbs). I also think they are better for skinnier babies, not chunkier ones, due to the leg openings being narrow.

Runs smaller then you think!
My toddler just turned 2 and is on the smaller end at 22lbs and 31" well under the 28/32lbs limits (not sure which its supposed to be since the listing has both 🤔). I'm a fan of one size diapers over say a thirsities size 0-3. I saw that this runs small and figured ut should still work since my son is fairly small. Nope. I got it on, and the waist isn't really bad, but the height killed it. The prefolds stick right out the top 🤷♀️. I rated it a 3 star because the fit issue is a big issue, but it feels like a good quality and would probably work very very well for newborns and young (slim) infants. I'd say a year old would be pushing it though, maybe put to 6/9 months at best. I'll be putting in for a return and just buying a thirsties.

This could be a great diaper. BUT
This could be a great diaper. BUT, the elastic on one of the legs has started to fail after only 3 months of use.... it's no longer stretchy. I had the same issue with the Crocodile version, (the back elastic is completely stretched out,) and was able to get my money back from Amazon, (5 stars for Amazon!!) but the green didn't start having problems until just after the return date for the product. Darn! I have washed these in warm water with Charlie's Soap, and have never once put them in the dryer, so I know that this isn't my fault. I also own red & teal covers from Bumkins, & so far those are doing just fine. It might be that the company had some bad elastic, but if so, it's very, very unfortunate, since that has caused me to leave a poor review. I also own a Rumparooz & a Best Bottom cover, and those are holding up quite well, after 3 months of use.11/15/14I'm amending my review to four stars from a measly two. After I contacted Bumkins directly via their webpage regarding the elastic issues they replaced my two covers and added an extra cover AND a bib to my package! These are very trim diapers. If you have a skinny little rug rat, then they'll fit beautifully. However, if you've got a chunky monkey, then I'd suggest another kind of diaper - the Rumparooz, Best Bottom & Buttons covers all have more room in them than these.

Lasted less than three months - excellent customer service
This diaper cover is adorable. However, after three months, not only has the back elastic given out, the leg gussets are completely relaxed as well. For a diaper cover that is supposed to survive more than one child, this is unacceptable.I have contacted Bumkins and hope the item will be replaced or refunded.Unfortunately, the website states their warranty as 30 days! Clearly, Bumkins do not stand by the quality of their products in the guarantee they offer.Let's hope that this can be resolved.UPDATE 12/16/14:I have been in contact with Bumkins customer support, who have just told me they will send me a replacement. I am very happy with this excellent customer support. Hopefully this diaper cover will last as long as it should. Five Stars for this experience.

Make sure to order the contour soakers
I mistakenly ordered the snap in diaper inserts which definitely do not cover all the plastic-y fabric. And they aren’t very soft. They work for now until the contour soaker liners come. Hopefully they are softer. Cute print. Lots of snaps, which the backings are not covered. And runs kind of small.

Bad quality
I no longer have this product in my house. I bought it when my son was outgrowing his new born covers. I thought it would be one size and fit til potty training but it's really small. On my 15lb 24inch baby it was fully opened. Also the back elastic and front completely relaxed. I ordered three and when my first diaper started to relax I contacted their customer service. They where great and sent two diapers and a water proof bib to replace on diaper. Sadly after a few months all the diapers relaxed and I just gave up. My son had almost out grown them anyway.

Don't let those snaps intimidate you: this is a great diaper.
Ok... I've had this diaper for a while little while now, and so I feel I can give it an accurate review. My first impressions on those snaps: I initially felt that there were wayyyy too many, and I was quite grumpy about this at first. But, had I had this when my child was first born, I would have loved it. The snaps on the waist overlay on each other, meaning that you can make this thing pretty tiny. I think it would be great for a newborn. And even folded up, it is pretty trim (not much bulk from fabric overlapping). And as much I love a cute fluffy bum, they don't often fit in their clothing the way you want. That isn't a problem with this diaper. So two big pluses there. The fabric: Fantastic. feels nice, has give, has not yet stained, is an adorable print, does not leak through. It has washed well thus far, and whites are still white (you know what I'm talking about). I do wish they had more colors and prints.Gussets: Great. Double gussets and they are not edged in white, a good move on Bumkins part. I have never had a blow out in this diaper.Overall it is a darn good diaper cover. I intend to buy more. The snaps are a bit of a pain, but I found that once I got over the learning curve, there isn't much difference between these and other brands' snaps. And I do want to add this one last thing: it is the best fitting diaper on my kid of the three brands and five styles I have.

I bought three diaper covers to see which ones I liked best and this was my least favourite (the other two were rumparooz and thirsties). The snaps are not complicated, as if you’ve used any cloth diaper, they are pretty standard - the bottom 3 rows are for making the diaper smaller/larger as needed and the top two are for fastening, but honestly there are way too many for fastening. I have some with 2 snaps on each side that keep everything in perfectly. Trying to do up 6 (!?) snaps on each side of a squirming baby is nearly impossible. Too much work, and I generally avoid this diaper if I can. On the ‘does it do it’s job’ front - yes it does, we’ve not had a blow out, and if you’re on a tight budget, this one is fine. Good price, but not worth it if you never want to use it.

Not a great fit for my little guy.
Not a fan of the way this one fits. I got a bunch of different brands to try cloth diapers out and see which brand works best for us... it isn’t this one unfortunately. I have to either make the diaper so loose that it leaks or leave marks on the my little guys legs. Would not recommend.

Have 4!
Have used this diaper cover lots these past few weeks and it works well. My baby was born 7.3 and is now 8 something. The legs holes are slightly too generous for a newborn but it hasn't caused any major issues yet.Snaps are solid, the pattern is cute, I have four of this cover (different colors) and they all perform faithfully: washing well, containing well (his little leg allowed for a little poo to slip out), and drying quickly.

Great Buy Not True One Size
I like these much better than the Thirsties covers we have that are also one size, because theirs no velcro that digs into my son's tummy. But! These are not one size. My son is a lean 8kg at 7 months and we are on the last button setting. Mind you we use prefolds which are bulkier than just fitted inserts. If these came in true one size I'd love them more.
